Awesome location and Rooms
Fantastic location and well priced. I understand rates are lower right now with opening specials. It would be great if the gym had a spin bike and rowing machine which were in photos when I booked. I understand that they were using Les Mills passes for the first few months and the photos depicted that. When we arrived the gym was very different to the pics from when we booked. The breakfast was amazing. Overall a great stay.

Fantastic hotel, rooms well appointed, great location. Only downside is the lack of short term parking when you arrive , just a small loading bay on Quay street big enough for 2 cars, if a car is the bay you have to drive around the block, which In Auckland traffic can take sometime

Great staff. Great shower. Great soap. Great location.
You walk into your room and floor to ceiling blinds automatically open in a theatrical style exposing the outside world. The blinds are true black out, the sun could move to outside your room and you wouldn’t see any light leakage.
The shower pours hot water down on you like a hot ocean. The soap smells wonderful and there are plenty of shower amenities.
Staff are always welcoming. Always, at any time or place.
Hands down the best commercial hotel in Auckland’s CBD.

Rest and Relax time
Great relaxing stay unfortunately dining for lunch didn’t have separate menu and no breakfast was available either.
Also no spa sauna or pool and gym was restricted and undergoing painting so not really available to use .

Great addition to Auckland
Very stylish hotel. This is the place to stay for business in Auckland right now. On the constructive criticism front, I probably would recommend advieh for breakfast as the food was strangely both too rich and somewhat tasteless. I think they are trying a bit too hard and a tweak to the menu would fix an otherwise exceptional place. This is a very minor commment - overall this is by far the best Intercon I have stayed at, and I have stayed at a lot of them!

Intercontinental Auckland
Nice hotel, very new so condition was excellent. We were room 605, which was set up for disabled persons use. The wet floor shower means the water goes everywhere, we had to use the towels to dry the floor after use. The room was large and comfortable with two queen or king size beds. The only issue I had was the noise of the ventilation from outside (i think it was coming from outside). We had a lovely breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Parking on arrival at the hotel is not easy. Particularly when coming back later in the evening. They need to do something about this.
