My landlord decided to tear down my apartment building and I had to move and had to spend a couple weeks staying at local hotels until my new place was avail. I stayed at the fairbridge because of the price. Room was not bad, the stay was fairly nice, I decided to check out some other hotels but eventually returned to the fairbridge. I came to my room after work and pulled the sheets back and bed bugs scattered. I notified the hotel staff and took photos, they quickly moved me to another room, no comp was offered. I checked out the next day and returned a couple days later after paying online for a room. When I checked in, I was told there was a DO NOT RENT notice on my account due to drug use in the room. Shocked I asked them what they were even talking about as I do not and had not use drugs, they claimed the house keepers found evidence of drug use but would not tell me more. They claimed it was possibly my guest however I did not have a guest in the room they claimed found drug use evidence. The manager claimed she couldn't reverse the DNR after the house keepers puts it on the room which I find very hard to believe. They would not tell me what they supposed found and I was out the money I paid for the room. This is outrageous and I believe it's because I found the bed bugs. I would not recommend this place to anyone ! I've never been so disrespected in my life by a hotel.
