Hotel was fine but really in need up an update. Bathroom especially was tatty and things like the hair dryer didn’t work and the soap was empty. It was clean however, and the breakfast was decent.

The first room we had on the 6th floor was hot and stuffy, couldn’t open windows. The second stay was Excellent room, more fitted out with a fridge and Tea coffee making facilities, only dislike was next door to a waste management facility and terrible smell when walking to train or bus station, other than that a very enjoyable stay

The dining area, and some facilities (e.g. the TV and gym) at the hotel appeared to be outdated. There is a 17 to 20 minute walk to the nearest train and/or tram station(s), but the nearest bus stop was reportedly 11 minutes away. We were afforded a room with view overlooking an industrial area and beyond; but this is dependant on the room you are checked into. There was scope for a contactless / late check-in, by letting staff know ahead of time on the day of arrival. Overall this hotel provided an affordable stay (with breakfast), given the crowds drawn to a sold out concert in Stockholm. The room was fairly large, relatively clean and comfortable. The staff were also super helpful and friendly.

Duschen fungerade knappt. Det kom så lite vatten att det nästan bara rann ur duschhandtaget. En viktig del för mig är att duschen är bra, denna var riktigt dålig. Sängarna var lite väl hårda, men det är ju en smaksak. Kuddarna var något tjockare än två lager tyg, alltså i stort sett obefintliga. Frukosten var enkel, men det fanns det viktigaste så helt ok. Flera lampor i rummet var trasiga eller urkopplade. Där fanns också ett extra element (det är bra), men tyvärr hade det trasiga fötter så det riskerade att ramla. Jag stängde av det, det var varmt nog ändå i rummet.

För oss passade boendet väldigt bra då vi tittat på fotboll och kom sent till hotellet och skulle bara ha en övernattningsstuga. Läget är inte idealiskt såvida du inte har egen bil, vi åkte kollektivt och fick då gå lite över en km genom ett industriområde. Smidig incheckning via mobilen och trevlig receptionist.

I got a room that was in lack of toilet paper, had no hand soap and the window had no handle, so I couldn't close it. The hotel had the lock to the window in the reception, and was aware of the issue with the window. It's simple not okay that you need to go to the reception constantly to get your window opened or closed during your stay. We got upgraded to a better room, but still had a bad experience with the place. The place seemed very old and in need of an upgrade!

Dålig städning och ofräscht.

Jag och min vän fick dela ett rum, och redan när vi klev in möttes vi av en tjock och ofräsch lukt blandat med starka städmedelsdofter. Kylskåpet var klibbigt och på elementet fanns torkat kaffe. Fönstren var dessutom smutsiga. På toaletten upptäckte vi mögel i taket och i duschavloppet låg det kvar rester av rengöringsmedel. Vi gick därför ner till receptionen och klagade, och fick ett nytt rum som till en början kändes lite bättre. Tyvärr möttes vi även där av samma instängda och obehagliga lukt, så vi tvingades öppna alla fönster för att vädra. I badrummet hittade jag silverfiskar i handfatet, och när jag lyfte upp proppen såg jag att den var fylld med hår – riktigt ofräscht. Jag kan tyvärr inte rekommendera detta hotell. Det finns många andra alternativ som håller en betydligt högre standard och framför allt bättre hygien. Hotellet borde verkligen se över sin städpersonal och rutiner, för detta var långt ifrån acceptabelt.

Bra överlag, vi hade otur med vårt rum

Hotellet överlag var ett bra alternativ för en billig prislapp. Med priset som utgångspunkt var det ett bra läge för att kunna ta sig vidare till sin destination och även frukosten var bra för priset. Vi bodde i var ett gäng som bodde i 3 olika rum och de andra två gruppernas rum höll en god standard. Just det rummet vi hamnade i luktade otroligt mycket rök trots en tydlig policy på hotellet samt en stor skylt på rummets dörr där det stod no smoking vilket inte är hotellets standard vill jag understryka då de andra två gruppernas rum höll god standard och luktade fräscht. Kan även vara värt att tillägga att sängkläderna utan tvekan var byta då de luktade nytvättade. Hade inte mycket kontakt med personal men såg andra gäster be om hjälp och då verkade personalen trevlig och hjälpsam.

​2 Home South: Ett perfekt val för Stockholm-besök

Vi har haft en mycket angenäm helgvistelse på 2 Home South, med bekväma sängar, en tillfredsställande frukost och utmärkt service, jag har inga klagomål. Det är perfekt för de som vill besöka Stockholms centrum och undvika stadens trafik och parkeringsproblem. Man kan enkelt lämna bilen på hotellets parkering och sedan ta bussen, tåget eller tunnelbanan till centrum eller Gamla Stan.

Backande långtradare all night long

Mitt fönster vette mot något slags lager där långtradare började komma mkt tidigt och hämta varor. Motorljudets låga frekvens gör att öronproppar inte klarar att stänga ute det. För övrigt stenhård säng och trasig tv.

Det mesta var helt okej, bra pris, bra läge, gratis parkering. Anledningen till det dåliga betyget var att det var olidligt varmt på rummet, det var i princip omöjligt att sova efter 04:00.

Hotellet ligger dåligt, långt till närmsta buss. Sen får du gå på industitomter för att komma fram. Lastbilar lossar och lastar dygnet runt och där luktar illa. Både inne och ute. Sängarna är stenhårda. Olika tider överallt på när frukosten serveras. Men priset var billigt och där jobbade en trevlig kille i receptionen på kvällarna.
