Amazing stay. Food is delicious, staff have been friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It’s been so peaceful and quiet, I extended my original booking by a week. Supermarkets, hardware store and a few places to eat within walking distance.

A little road noise at night. Parking can be a problem if there are tradesmen's vehicles.

8/10 Very good

For the price and location for a nights stay before the ferry to Dublin, especially as a breakk is included is good value for money. Room was dated amd lacked amenities but fine for a pit stop. My only compliant is the TV was the smallest TV i have ever had in a hotel room. Staff were friendly, lots or parking and lots of places to eat in walkkng distance

8/10 Very good

We had a nice big room overlooking the garden and street. There was plenty of parking and a good menu for our evening meal in the pub. We sat outside on the patio and there is a little playground for the kids which was very much appreciated. Plenty of drinks choices at the bar and prices were reasonable. Good continental breakfast selection plus a full English breakfast and lots of banter between the breakfast staff - we had a great time and lots of laughs. I have deducted one star because I found three hairs in the bathroom but other than that everything was fine and we would stay there again if we are ever back on Anglesey.

A late booking due to a ferry cancellation. A key was left for us at reception on arrival at midnight. Very friendly

Anglesey during the festive season

This is an older property and clearly the team work steadily maintaining the hotel. The Cleanliness of the hotel is superb The helpfulness of the team and friendly way in which they engage guests makes your stay homely. The menu changes every couple of days not a large choice but a well varied menu and the food is prepared well and Breakast is delicious first quality It is set in the middle of the village so you are aware of passing traffic for most people this should not be a problem in this day and age.

Not for families

We stayed here as a place to stop after a ferry journey. I wouldn’t recommend to families as the pub was noisy when we arrived and not a particularly welcoming atmosphere. The room was okay but the toilets downstairs were absolutely filthy (puddles of urine on the floor etc). The breakfast was average and

12 hour stopover

Overnight stay before sailing to Dublin. Friendly staff. First impressions of our room (room 1) was a bit disappointing - painted woodchip walls and ceiling, cramped twin room. However, everything was clean and tidy. All good for a quick 12 hour stopover. We had a meal in the restaurant - the food was delicious, and plenty of it! Beer was nice too! My only criticism is that one of the (provided) bottles of water was open and half empty 😞 All in all, a nice place to stay.
MINAL, 1-night trip

A very comfortable stay - the room was clean and quiet, breakfast was great and the staff were fantastic. Very happy and will defiantly stay again.
