Charming and beautiful room
Charming hotel with an outstanding view and a super comfortable bed. The rooms are small and there are no elevators because it’s a very old building but it was great nevertheless. They also offered Nespresso in the rooms, which was a nice touch.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay here in Geiranger. The town itself is breathtaking. The gentlemen working at the front desk were so helpful and lovely. And the restaurant was so great, I actually ended up eating there both nights during my stay. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

Yes, I would stay there again!! This is an older property but maintained well and as you will see its about location location location. Our room was small but its expected in Europe and these faculties. Staff was amazing and breakfast selection very good. Remember it the view!!

We called ahead when running late and Hans was most accommodating of our situation. He even met us outside to help us sort out parking after seeing us make a couple of passes by the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was a classic spread of Scandinavian "bread," which is bread, eggs, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, cereal, and much more! We enjoyed wandering the hallways and other public areas to see the historic photos on the walls illustrating life in Geiranger during days past.

A charming 130-year old hotel. No elevator as it is an older building, not a problem for me, but might be important for some. The very kind and personable concierge was kind enough to help me with my luggage. Having the view of the fjord was a bonus. I was taking a car ferry the next day, and the hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes from the pier.
