I stayed at Camar a few years ago and the service was impeccable. I was looking forward to my stay again, and although we had a nice time it wasn’t up to the same standard. A beautiful location and comfortable safe stay.

Another hotel where the reality is very different from the Expedia photos. Staff was very nice, but hotel wasn’t in the best condition. There was what looked like black mold growing around the base of the sink and toilet. The beach by the hotel has a sewage smell.

Amazing experience. Wonderful staff who were always helpful. Private beach was so tranquil. Robots delivering breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommend and will be returning again in the future.

Great place to stay

We had an amazing 7 night stay at The Camar, the room was very comfortable and overlooked the great long pool, Breakfast was good, the staff were truly wonderful. The location is on a pretty beach on the edge of town, away from all the clamor but near enough for either a long walk or short taxi ride. The hotel run a scuttle service. There are pretty of restaurants and bars in the area. Would highly recommend

We really loved our four day stay at the Camar Resort. Our room was in the ground floor and opened up to the pool - amazing. The private beach was great and quiet. The breakfast was decent but not spectacular and I imagine we would have grown tired of the choices after more than 4 days. It was the low season so the resort was very quiet which was great for us. There were a number of awesome and really affordable restaurants around so you didn’t feel like you had to eat at the resort for every meal (although the food was quite good at the hotel). The service at the resort was top notch and I think that is what truly sets Camar apart from the others.

The facility is well maintained and cleaned. Beach is literally in front of the property and the view from beachside restaurant is pretty too. This area was quiet compared to pantai cenang area, so I recommend if you want to chill and relax at the beachside. Currently construction is ongoing next to this resort so sometimes got noise, but it didnt really bother us. Good stay!

Thanks so much to the nice and supportive staffs. Although we enjoyed our stay, I think this resort has a great potential to improve. Maybe a renewal of the building and facilities are needed in near future.

Dette kunne vært så bra, men alt ropte dårlig ledelse. Fra at bassengområde og strand ikke ble rengjort til dårlig opplært og initiativløse ett unntak, en litt lav fyr som snakket bra Bassenget var fantastisk, men bassengområdet dårlig vasket (selve bassenget var reint, men solsengene og bordene skitne.

Huoneessa oli välillä gekkoja, mutta ei ne siellä katossa haitanneet. Huone kulunut, mutta menetteli. Parvekkeella oli vain yksi tuoli, miinusta siitä. Tyynyt korkeita, mutta pidin siivoojien ja ravintolan todella hyvästä asiakaspalvelusta. Vastaanotossa oli tullessa nuori mies joka ei edes kertonut missä on aamupala tai mitään muutakaan.

Hotelli oli suht siisti. Kylpyhuoneet vähän kulahtaneet. Siivous vei kyllä pyyhkeet huoneista mutta ei tuonut uusia. Piti mennä pyytämään. Myöskään kasvopyyhkeitä ei vaihdettu. Hotelli oli hiljainen. Aurinkotuoleja vapaina runsaasti.
