Makumu is very private and expensive property. Very quiet, surreal view on a top of hill. Staff was amazing and very welcoming ( almost felt like a family). Food was great! Good wine!
You will not regret staying here!

Believe the great reviews!!!
I can not express how wonderful Makumu was!
Outstanding accommodations, wonderful food, beautiful reserve. You’ll feel welcome from the start in a relaxed atmosphere. Honestly feel it was the best trip we’ve taken. Definitely stay at least 3, but 4 or more nights is best to increase your chances for seeing the most game.

Fantastic - Could not recommend anything better
Absolutely amazing experience. We were the only guests at the resort, but every member of staff endeavoured to make our holiday so special. It was the most relaxing, yet enriching holiday we have ever taken. To be guided on safari by experts who are so passionate and knowledgeable about the area was an absolutely phenomenal experience. The food was fantastic, each setting outdid the previous one. The most comfortable mattresses and duvets that we have ever slept on away from home. All this combined to make it a most memorable holiday
