The Barachois Inn in North Rustico, PEI was charming and beautifully appointed. The landscaping and outside decor is welcoming too! The innkeeper is a gracious and wonderful hostess/cook, while also being efficient & vibrantly fun! Put this Inn on your PEI list to visit!

Beautiful Barachois in Rustico
This was the highlight of our five-night stay on PEI. Such fine attention to details from the amenities in the bathroom to the lovely furnishings with every modern touch for comfort. Andrea goes out of her way to be a concierge for guests at this excellent B&B. She recommended two restaurants and both were exceptional.

Barachoice Inn is a must-stay for anyone who wants to step into the world of Anne of Green Gables. The rooms are beautifully decorated to capture the charm and warmth of the novel, and the breakfast is simply delicious. The host, a lovely woman, went above and beyond to make my stay feel special. If you're looking for a cozy and authentic experience, look no further.

The grounds surrounding the house are beautiful. Right across from the Banker’s Museum, a great little activity. Restaurant options are nearby. Host was very friendly. We only stayed in the main house and had no opportunity to see the additional guesthouse. Would try to stay there on a return visit. Breakfast was more then adequate.

I am so happy we chose Barachois Inn for our recent stay in PEI. My mother is in a wheelchair and there were so few options on the island for her to stay comfortably. Barachois Inn made it possible and Judy and Andrea were wonderful hosts. Their hospitality made this spot the best part of the whole trip. Highly recommend it as a place to stay.
Erin, 4-night trip

Andrea was such a wonderful host, helping us with an early morning start breakfast and fixing a broken TV charger. Lots of fun too !!
Mary, 2-night trip

North shore “green gables coast” gem! Heritage property family owned and run! Everything great except pillows.
Harry, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The house itself is gorgeous. You travel in time when you open the door and you see the details of the house. It is somehow away from the buzz but it is perfect.
Silvia, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely stay in an historic building. The Inn keeps the integrity of a beautifully restored historical home while also supporting energy initiatives with solar paneling and EV parking spaces. The hosts care deeply about the history of the building and location and are full of information about PEI. Loved our room with views over the church yard and the bay. Only concern was with the shower head which needed repair (not able to be done while we were there - it was adequate). Breakfast was very welcomed; access to Netflix to watch Anne with an E was a bonus! Very much enjoyed our stay!
Michele, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Lovely overall if character is what you’re into. But the AC did not cool that room down much and the bedding was cheap.
Kevin, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The property is in a beautiful rural setting and is an excellent location to take day trips from. The units are large and very well equipped including microwave and mini fridge. The owners daughter,Andrea prepares and serves breakfasts which are awesome with plenty of selection. She has a wonderful personality and sense of humour. Judy, the owner is a wonderful and very helpful person. Having run the operation for some 38 years she really has it nailed. The website accurately reflects the property. We highly recommend this facility.
Stephen, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Property was advertised as a luxury inn. I expected better amenities. The breakfast was the same everyday. The jellies and syrup were small packets. Not local. Coffee pods in the rooms were Kirkland brand. Linens were medium quality. The internet was down during our entire stay. So no tv either. This added to our frustration.
