American tourists are not common in Obama. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome! We stayed in a Japanese style room, but they have European ones too, and also an onsen (communal hot spring bathing), which is always a plus.

This property is ocean view. Nice to sit in the room by the window with ocean view. Dinner is room service. Only thing is the dinner is like a big bento box . Has no sushi or sashimi at all. But you need to hit up and cook the rice and soup in the room is interesting

Average hotel
Hotel was outdated and old looking. Room had a very strong smell of the floor mats. Basic amenities in the rooms, bathroom was old and required updating. Staff were nice.

Beautiful ocean view
The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. Dinner was great, but the breakfast was not a buffet and as nice as in the pictures.
The location from Hotels.com to Google maps is at least 3 kilometers off. We had to go roaming the town to find it

Nice view and spacious rooms.
Spacious rooms with an amazing view. The hotel is outdated but it has nice traditional tatami rooms.
