Not what I expected!
No one was there when we arrived to help with luggage or direct us to the Check in area. Once we checked in, only 1 person came to help us (2 couples with 10 bags) get to our rooms. Our room floor was dirty and ants were all around the trash can. Was not a 5 star hotel in my opinion. Will not stay there again. Property outside is beautiful and restaurant was very good. Did not use the spa so I cannot speak to that.

We stayed for 1 night before going to airport. The hotel is STUNNING! We did not eat the food so I can’t speak on that. Everyone has to walk around in the white robes and slippers placed in the room, otherwise you can’t just sit by the pool. One of the only things I wish was different was the shower. There is no glass or curtain so water gets everywhere. It’s a tub/shower combo so it can be slippery getting out even when you use the towel provided for the floor. Everything was beautiful and would definitely stay there again to take advantage of the benefits.

Issues with water at the hotel
Quality and service at this hotel does not meet its supposed 5 star rating. The water from our sink came out this horrible orange rust color. Front desk staff were not particularly accommodating, we had to request that they bring us bottled water to use for the night. We could not even close the bathroom door because it got stuck on the toilet? Our reservation form stated, "1 Free spa service for 2 per stay." This does NOT mean access to the spa/pools on the hotel grounds. It meant 1 face mask packet on the bed. Access to the spa is an additional $50 per person. Hotel grounds are pretty and we had a nice dinner at the restaurant but overall this hotel was not worth the cost. Would not stay here again.

Beautiful grounds, but overpacked and overpriced
The property and grounds are beautiful and spacious! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautiful. We came for a night / two days for a weekend getaway. We came in on a Friday, and the biggest drawback was the amount of people at the spa. Very packed. This took away from the opportunity to enjoy the pools and spa services--way too many people for the space, and spaces like the steam room and various saunas were very crowded. The "apperitivo experience" that was included in our spa package in a crowded area, with no spaces to sit down and enjoy the afternoon snacks and too many leftovers and cups everywhere -- the vibe felt more like a music festival than a 5-star hotel. Staff is nice, but stretched too thin. This made the entire weekend feel very overpriced and not relaxing. While the grounds are beautiful, not one location I'm planning to come back to!
