A lot of renovation work is undergoing in Jeddah as part of the vision 2030 MBSs program. However, this was not inconvenient at all. We had a great time and were able to visit the most important landmarks of the city. People are extremely friendly!

Jeddah can be walkable, if you like walking. Bring an umbrella or cap and water, because it's really bright, sunny and hot. I've walked to the floating mosque, passing by other mosques, a small mall, and restaurants.
