I’ve stayed her many times
A pleasant place to stay.
My only comment is about the WiFi - it’s awful, it just doesn’t work!

This is the second time I have stayed at Phokoje in transit further North. Honestly have nothing negative to say about the property except that the Staff at reception negatively impact guests’ experience.
In both occasions they have been disinterested, unhelpful and overall rude. I won’t be staying here again simply because of their attitude to arrivals.

OK
We stayed in the Camps side of the lodge. We were the only guest staying at the camp site section of the lodge. The shower was the best thing in the family room as it had hot water.
On the negative side, we found lots of spiders in the room and as it was the rainy season, there were lots of mosquitoes too. No bed nets in the room meant that we were exposed to mosquito bites, which made sleeping uncomfortable.

The chef needs extra training. I waited an hour and a half for a salad and the restaurant was not busy at all. Chef isn’t knowledgeable on specific dishes and what should go into them. Things you can ALWAYS find in Botswana: chicken and spinach. The restaurant had neither for the 4 days we were here! Restaurant staff are lovely though, try to help and very apologetic when things aren’t right.
