Cool spot, literally right across the street from Rokin metro station, which is a stop or two from Amsterdam Central, so the airport is only twenty minutes away. Walk a few minutes south, and you'll find the Rijksmuseum, Van Gohg, Stedelijik, and Maco Museums. A few minutes north west Anne Frank's house, and north east the Red Light district. The room itself has a hipster, studio apartment vibe, with a killer view that looks out onto a bustling Rokin ( street, avenue, blvd ) with a canal view to the south. The photos on their site are accurate. Insane deal for this spot at the moment ( September 2024 ), don't sleep.

This should not be advertised as a hotel. Upon arrival no asssitance offered with luggage no elevator had to take stairs steep stairs. We had to call expedia so they request them to assist us with luggage. Rooms are terrible. We don’t recommend this stay.

A little hidden gem
The hotel has an amazing location right in the heart of the centre, with transport links very close-by and everything within walking distance. The room was basic but great value for money. Room temperature was fine, as air conditioning was provided. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard. The bathroom was small but very user friendly and functional. The staff were very helpful and approachable. I have nothing bad to say about my stay. However, some may find the area loud or busy which they should be aware of before booking.

Perfect location
Excellently located hotel. Close to everything. Friendly staff and clean room. The room was a bit small but suited our needs perfectly. Steep steps up to upper floors but we knew that ahead of time. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when next in Amsterdam.

The prime location is a major highlight, with a food street, metro, tram, and shops all within 100 meters. Many rooms offer scenic canal views, and the staff is exceptionally welcoming. The coffee machine also delivers outstanding coffee. We were two adults with four bags, and found the room a bit cramped. Typical of Amsterdam architecture, the building has no elevator and features steep stairs. It was good enough for the price paid. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay. I would love to state here again.

The staff were very nice. Average room. TV and heater did not work. The toilet seat cover was broken. Very thin walls so the rooms were noisy. No safe in the room as offered. No bottled water offered. Very steep stairs. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. I would pass on staying here.

Rooms are not as described Very basic - our room had hole in curtains, wires hanging from wall where tv was meant to be, raidiator loose of wall and because booked through Expedia couldn’t get a refund or exchange. Coffee machine wasn’t working and very steep stairs ( tbf most of stairs in Amsterdam are very steep)

Love the property. Was close to lots of things. The climb was steep to the room but no compalins at all. I would say dont stay unless you can carry your luggage atleast one or 2 flight of stairs. If you are travelling light would definitely recommend it. Will go back if i travel back to Amsterdam.
