Really loved the Staff and service at this property. Brian at breakfast was outstanding. Food was FAR better than at other all inclusive properties where I have stayed. Property is new/pristine but is a bit of a distance from Cancun…I like to shop and visit other restaurants and this requires about a 30 minute cab ride from this location. One odd thing: the staff at the pool towel desk have been trained to guard the relatively flimsy pool towels as if their lives depended upon them. A drunken patron threw up all over my things at the pool. Staff took my towel and cleaned up my things. When I went to get a new towel, however, I was given a 15 minute interrogation regarding why I needed a new towel without a return. OMG! I don’t want to steal your towels! Please deal with the bean counter who supervises these staff!!

The hotel was perfect The food was good However we thought the restaurant will be a restaurant type but it was first come first served. No reservation needed. And it was buffet type. The party was good we had a great time. The pool bar was good. Pool was perfect only one day we had seaweed. They cleaned them. Staff were nice. It was close to airport. They had no transportation and we book a car online for our communication. We went to Spa it was great however my husband ring was in closet and he forgot to take it and he lost. And staff mentioned after our service no one was there. I asked hotel to take a look and if they found it let us know. No one did follow up. And we could not find it .

Had the best time at Riu with my boyfriend. The food was fantastic! There was always an a fun activity going on. Definitely would stay here again. Only downside is that it’s deeper into Costa Mujeres so traveling to excursions and other parts of Cancun takes a while. Also they don’t have any lotions so you have to bring your own

We had a great time i liked that the hotel always had things you could do never got bored but also if you just needed to relax you could do that too. From all the restaurants i think the one i liked most was the buffet, they had a variety of different cousins.

Property was amazing one of the best well kept and maintained. Staff and service was better than the states, always going above and beyond and making the guest feel like they are the only ones here. One thing that I could suggest is that the entertainment could be better! Love the live music but wish there was more of. Pools could be a bit warm but the ocean is nice and refreshing! For daily activities they were Ok nothing really exciting to want to participate except if your Into sports it’s perfect for that the only thing is that I wish they would spread out the activities because they try to put multiple of the activities that everyone likes at the same time, so your having to pick and choose which one. Instead they had fewer turnout in each. Sometimes not enough for a game. Spend more time looking for players than playing. But overall one of the best times I’ve spent on vacation. Will come back!
