Tiniest Nightstands I’ve Seen
Hotel needs improvements. Maintenance seemed not up to date. Room had loose things like nightstands, which were unusually small as well, there was no space to even set the cell phone, as it had a desk phone tied to to it so you couldn’t even get it out of the way so you could actually use the nightstand.

Great location, if driving get there early
I liked everything about this hotel except the parking situation, which is a challenge anywhere in NYC so you can't really hold it against them. They advertise on-site parking but the garage was full when I got there. They sent me to another parking garage around the block, a shady cash-only place. Anyway, if you're planning to bring your car make sure to check in early if you can. Location is fantastic - right next to the L train that goes straight to Manhattan, and right in the middle of a cool neighborhood. Bed was so-so.

No hot water surprise.
They were apparently having a water line break issue - there was water leaking near the front desk. No mention was made of it to me and in the morning, there was still no hot water, so the shower was refreshing to say the least. The next night, which is the one we booked through Hotels.com, the water had thankfully been fixed. Otherwise, the stay was fine - room was comfortable and we slept well.

Thanksgiving NYC 2024
This hotel is overpriced for the accommodations and amenities. It’s not a 4 star, barely a 3. I was charged a $200/night incidental fee but walked in my room with a dirty stale towel hanging in the bathroom. Turn down service dont provide fresh linen even with obvious dirty stains from the night before. They had a leaking rotted ceiling at check in desk. I would not recommend I paid almost $1500 for a 4 night stay. They make you pay a deposit and then charge you for your whole stay when you get there plus the deposit and refund the deposit back instead of letting you pay the balance plus incidental. I was underwhelmed and frustrated. Mattresses were horrible and no real warm comforters. 1 ply tissue. I can go on and on.

Big rooms, ok otherwise
Ample rooms for a New York hotel, though sort of lacking in local charm. Surly clerk at check-in (is that the local charm?), and otherwise we never spoke with a hotel staff person again til we checked out at the end of our stay.

Not great, good location
The water was cold one day, the ac didn’t work the next day. They couldn’t email us any receipts so print those out. They were rude to us on the phone when we complained about the ac.
