Very nice area, staff were very helpful and close enough to walk to Dam Square Room was small, beams restricted my height but overall a comfortable stay

Most amazing place to stay- right off the tram line so super great for traveling all over the city. Staff was amazing.

6/10 Good

Breakfast was really good. I use a walker and its around 8 steep steps to get into the Hotel. All the reception workers watched me struggle to carry my walker upstairs until the very last night a worker informed me there was a handy cap entrance that I could have used that went straight to the elevator, very sad to be treated like this with a disability.
Mark, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We had two family rooms. There was an upstairs and downstairs room. Both restaurants on the opposite corners had good food and very friendly staff.
Alejandra, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

It was ok
Uziel, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was brilliant, but I was located in the basement, which I could hear a lot of noise. The hotel itself wasnt great in terms of looks but it did it's job. I wouldn't say it was a 4 star hotel though, which is what I was expecting. It was more like a 2 or a 3 star.
Aaron, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Nice enough but overpriced

Hotel appears reasonably well maintained but wasn't worth the price. Could have been better with cleaning. Sink wasn't clean when we arrived and the cleaning regime during our stay appeared to be nothing more than changing towels and toilet roll. Staff were nice and the location is decent.

Kuei-Fen, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was quite a OK, but the rest of the hotel is very boring and there is nothing to do. Don’t do not buy breakfast!
Marcus, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Better than expected.

It was better than I expected. No fuss. Check in and check out was easy. I was surprised by a tax fee. But maybe it’s in the fine print somewhere. Location was decent and room was fair. Good size for what I needed and the bed was comfortable.
Christopher, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

We had 3 rooms' reservation. The temp could not be adjusted for one room. No any sorry at all and no one to fix it. The front desk guy with very poor service attitude.
Quan, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Our room had painted cement walls and plywood ceilings. No drawers to store things and an open rack to hang clothes, no closet. The beds though were comfortable. Some staff members were more friendly than others.
Nicole, 6-night trip

4/10 Fair

Good location in the Artis district, easy access via tram. The hotel itself was quite disappointing: it was very noisy, not only because of the proximity to the tram tracks, but also because of ongoing construction next door which we were not informed about (work started at 7:30 am). There was also an incident that we felt was not properly handled by the hotel management. It put a damper on our stay. The hotel is overpriced for the type of service and amenities it offers.
Joseph, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Stayed at Quentin Zoo hotel for 3 nights while visiting Amsterdam. It is an older building that has seen some recent refurbishment but appears to be done on a budget. We booked the basic room which was clean, but small and dark with harsh overhead spotlights. The room was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. Breakfast in the hotel was a nice little buffet with the usual options. Staff was nice and helpful with questions. There is a very convenient tram stop right out in front, but the weather was nice and we made the 30 minute walk to the center of Amsterdam most days. The area seemed very safe and there are a few bars/restaurants nearby. If you are budget conscience and don't need a lot of amenities, this would be a good choice for your stay. It worked well for us and we saved a lot of money compared to other hotels in Amsterdam.
