The room was beautifully clean and modern, and had everything we needed. The room was a cosy or comfort room (5) perfectly big enough. The hotel is right on the river and only 10 min from town centre. Hotel breakfast was delicious and varied...good selection. Had an evening meal here, food was really good and reasonably priced. Hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas too. Staff were very attentive and polite and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Hats off to Dean and the rest of the staff for making our stay so wonderful.

Spotless bar, restaurant and room, with very friendly and helpful staff, plus great views of the river and quiet location within a short walk into the centre of Chester. The walk into Chester may not be suitable for some people however as it is quite a steep walk from the river, but there are nice walks along the river.

We particularly enjoyed our dining experience and were impressed by the several exceptional appetisers we ordered, which exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness of the rooms and comfort of the bed were also noteworthy. However, it was the cleanliness and luxurious quality of the shower that truly stood out to us.
