The place is more like a beach club than a resort, and unfortunately, it was not well maintained and was very dirty.
The first room we were given was filled with mold, both in the bathroom and in the living room. When we requested a room change, the first person we spoke to lied to us and said they were fully booked. This was clearly not true, as the property was fairly empty. When we spoke to someone else because we felt we were being lied to, he apologized and arranged another room for us. Unfortunately, there was also mold in the new room.
Every night was a battle with mosquitoes. The insecticide used by the property was not effective enough, and I suffered multiple mosquito bites during my stay. The hot water and air conditioning also did not work throughout our stay.
To make matters worse, this place showed very little regard for its guests. On the final night of our stay, they played loud and obnoxious music from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. The music was not stopped until I called and yelled at them. By that point, I was extremely frustrated because I had not been able to get a good night’s sleep.
The management of this place needs a lot of work to bring it up to an acceptable standard. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Don’t waste your money.
