I had the opportunity to be one of their first guests, so I got a private tour of the buildinf and the kitchen. Highly recommend this hotel of you want to have an incredible experience. The staff is also very friendly and ready to help with any questions/requests.

We wish we had stayed here longer! All the staff at the hotel were lovely and so helpful in every way - they automatically upgraded us to a royal suite at no additional cost and we were amazed by the room and the beautiful view of the Douro river. The in room dining and included breakfast were so delicious and had a lot of variety. Special recognition to Marta for recommending us other cool places to check out for our other stops in Lisbon and Lagos. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Great hotel w just 18 rooms. Gym and pool in another Torel hotel close by. Great staff: friendly and helpful. Breakfast served at the table which is great if you do not like sloppy buffe. AC in the room but low capacity when hot. No pool (yet). Great location away from the crowded center. Great beds and room decoration is modern, but less practical at times. Overall a great little hotel

Everything about the Torel Private Collection was 1st class. Perhaps most importantly the people. Rarely do you go to a place where everyone was faultless. Their level of service, attitude and professionalism will be difficult to emulate anywhere else. Absolute perfection in everything they did. The hotel itself is a unique concept, small ( in terms of the number of bedrooms) but very personal. The accommodation is of a very high standard. The bedding is out of this world. Highly recommended. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Save room for the most wonderful breakfast.

Super dejligt hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed. Men de vil gerne mere end de helt kan leve op til - det virker lidt "umodent". Første dag fik vi opredning inden sengetid - det glippede de to øvrige dage. Dag 2 fik vi ikke rengøring - da vi efterlyste det, fik vi det om aftenen. Der var ikke hver dag opfyldning på alt - f.eks. små håndklæder og vand. Morgenmaden bliver serveret som små retter - da vi den første dag havde siddet ved bordet i næsten 2 timer og stadig manglede to serveringer gik vi. De næste dage bad vi om hurtig servering - det gik nogenlunde. MEN der manglede alle dage opmærksomhed på, om vi manglede juice, kaffe el.a. Selve morgenmaden var rigtig god. Når ovennævnte er sagt, så må vi også sige, at alle var meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Vi fik god hjælp til valg af restauranter og bookning af bord - og her var de meget opmærksomme og fulgte op på, hvordan oplevelsen havde været osv.

Minha estadia foi simplesmente maravilhosa! A localização do hotel é excelente, permitindo explorar Porto com muita facilidade. O café da manhã é um grande diferencial: servido em etapas, foge do tradicional buffet e oferece uma experiência única, com pratos de altíssima qualidade. O grande destaque, no entanto, é a equipe. Todos foram extremamente acolhedores, atenciosos e prestativos, proporcionando um atendimento impecável do início ao fim. Realmente nota mil! A cama é extremamente confortável e ainda há um cuidado especial com o serviço de quarto no período da noite, o que torna a experiência ainda mais aconchegante. Além de tudo isso, o hotel é lindo. A arquitetura histórica foi preservada com muito bom gosto, combinando o charme de um edifício antigo com todo o conforto esperado de um hotel de alto padrão. Sem dúvida, voltaria e recomendaria a qualquer pessoa que visite Porto.

Vi har hatt ti fine dager på dette hotellet. Super god service, veldig hyggelig personell i både resepsjon og frokostsal. Rent og stort rom med balkong og flott utsikt over Douro elven. Stor og god seng. AC-anlegget kunne vært bedre, og vi hadde foretrukket et eget bad (fremfor åpent baderom med glassvegg rundt do/dusj). Hotellet var i startfasen og hadde ingen fasiliteter som bar, treningsrom etc enda. Vi hadde satt pris på informasjon om at vi kunne bruke fasilitetene (inkl basseng) på søsterhotellet ved siden av (det fikk vi informasjon om siste dag). Hotellet ligger i gåavstand (ca 15 min) til sentrum. Vi valgte (som morgentrim) å gå til stranden flere dager. Det tok ca 1 time til Foz langs elven. En fin tur. Trikken går ellers rett utenfor døren og Uber tok bare ca ti minutter. Vi hatt et fint opphold her og kommer gjerne igjen.

Otroligt fint rum, med utsikt över floden. Fantastisk service. Medan jag var ute på middag gjorde de iordning för natten - ställde fram tofflor vid sängen och lade en chokladbit på kudden. Frukosten väldigt god. Enda nackdelen var att frukosten serverades i omgångar av personalen, vilket tog lite för lång tid när jag hade tid att passa. Hade jag varit där privat för semester hade det inte gjort nåt.

Alles was prima tot zeer goed. Dat lijkt overdreven en "gekocht" maar dat is niet het geval. Het hotel is onlangs smaakvol verbouwd en heel recent geopend. Iedereen deed ontzettend zijn best om het ons optimaal naar de zin te maken. Dat is zeker gelukt. Het ontbijt is een belevenis opzich. Neem er vooral de tijd voor.

Es un hotel exclusivo, con perfección en cada detalle, comida excepcional y el desayuno es una experiencia maravillosa de un menú degustación. La habitación es muy cómoda, con una pequeña terraza donde se disfruta de una vista increíble al Río Duoro. Pero sin duda, lo mejor es el personal del hotel, todos son muy cálidos, amables y serviciales. Ellos hicieron que nuestra estadía en Porto fuera inolvidable!
