The room itself was nice. It feels like it may still be being set up as there were hanging wires. Check-in however was a different story. This is a room in an industrial building with codes to go in and a code for the door. I sent messages through multiple ways to try to find out how to check in with no responses until late afternoon. Some of the positives were the room was large nicely decorated and well equipped. The bed was clean and comfortable. Some of the negatives the door into the suite is difficult to lock and unlock, and when inside you have no way of checking to make sure it is actually locked. We slept with a chair under the door knob to be sure. There is laundry in the suite however it was filled with laundry that had been done and not emptied. The toilet is almost impossible to flush and there were stains on the chairs and on the sofa. If you have a lot of luggage or things to carry it is a steep and long staircase to get up to where the room is. When you get there, you will have a resident spider greeting you outside the door every day that we left as he was there before us. Another positive however is it is a nice area of Montreal with lots of nice cafes restaurants and things to see and do. Overall I would stay there if you want lots of space and the amenities that it offered but if you are looking for a true Hotel type experience with easy check in and the things you would expect for a room that is 400 plus dollars a night this is probably not for you.
