This is a place my family returns to at least once a year. We always have an amazing time. Wilderness at the Smokies is clean, well maintained and fun. We always feel safe there. I enjoy relaxing in the lazy river and hot tub, but my kids always get me to go on waterslides with them too.

We had a wonderful time and are planning our next trip back. No place is perfect but this place is pretty great! My children loved it (9,11,12,&18). I loved it as well. I do suggest bringing water shoes. The food is pricy. The staff was amazing. The lifeguards are on high alert. The whole thing was a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. This was our first time staying in River Lodge as we usually stay at Stone Hill. The room was great for the four of us. Two adults, a 10 year-old and a three-year-old. Wilderness has made leaps and bounds where they were a couple years ago. We had totally written them off for a long time and now would gladly stay there again and again. There is so much to do for children and adults alike, whether it be the waterpark with so many things, the huge arcade, laser tag, mini golf, an adventure coaster inside, and more. The food options are great and such a huge variety. So thankful to have a place so close to home that we can come to and enjoy family time together. The water, coaster and lazy river is such a great addition. It is so family friendly, and the staff everywhere treats you like family.

The front desk staff was very friendly. But the rooms need to be better maintained. Paint and hunks of wood missing from cabinets. We found a bug crawling up the wall as we were getting ready to leave. The mattress was not comfortable.
