Very close to Stratford Int’l, Westfield and walking distance to ABBA voyage venue and Westham football stadium. Tube and buses go everywhere. Initially we had issues to do the self check-in, but staff there were very friendly and helpful. We booked a room with a walk in shower without paying attention to details. It was a very large room and was good to know that something like that exists for people in wheelchairs.

⭐ 1/5 – One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had I have travelled to 40+ countries and stayed in countless hotels, but Premier Inn Stratford was one of my worst experiences. We travelled from Norway with two small children and had baby food and important temperature-sensitive medicine brought from Norway that was not easily replaceable in the UK. The hotel pictures showed a fridge, but our room had none. We offered to pay for one night and move elsewhere. Instead, staff, including someone presenting himself as a manager, offered to keep our medicine and baby food in their fridge. We trusted them. The next day we discovered THEY HAD NEVER PUT IT IN A FRIDGE and had left it in a very warm storage room. The food was spoiled and the medicine had also been left there. Their excuse was: “The manager didn’t agree.” Then why accept it? Why promise refrigeration? Why not simply call our room and inform us? Even worse, instead of apologising, staff argued with us and questioned why we had given them important items. Because YOUR staff offered to refrigerate them! The carpets in our room and corridors were also filthy. Housekeeping was equally frustrating: when we asked for toilet paper, we were told to get approval from reception first! Terrible cleanliness, broken promises, zero accountability and extremely unprofessional service. Avoid, especially if travelling with young children. 1 star only because zero isn’t an option.

The hotel’s location was solid; however, the room itself was in very poor condition. The carpets were visibly stained and appeared unclean, sections of the walls were cracked, and overall the space did not feel well maintained or hygienic. While I only stayed for one night—which limited the inconvenience—the experience was still disappointing. The exterior facade was attractive, but the condition on the inside is a stark contrast and did not align with expectations.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and not at all what we expected. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the room did not meet basic comfort or hotel standards. The sink was extremely low – around knee height – which made even washing hands or face very uncomfortable, as I had to bend forward significantly. The bed was also very low and, more importantly, far too short. My husband’s feet were hanging outside the bed, which is unacceptable for a hotel room. In hindsight, this felt very much like an accessible/disabled room, yet we were never informed of this, nor did we request such a room. We are fully mobile, and being assigned this room without explanation felt inappropriate. Additionally, there was no telephone in the room, which is concerning in case of emergencies. There was no water provided, and room cleaning was not done unless specifically requested. On top of that, there was a persistent unpleasant smell in the corridors and inside the room. Overall, the experience was far below expectations, and unfortunately this is not a hotel we would choose to stay at again.

Self check inn hat nicht funktioniert. Hat meine Buchung nicht gefunden. Zum Glück waren da 2 Bedienstete die sich extra in System einloggen mussten damit sie meine Buchung sehen konnten. Es war nur ein kleines Handtuch im Bad. Ich bat darum ein 2. Handtuch zu bringen- was nie passierte. In Dusche fehlt Ablage für eigene Produkte. Dreht man amWaschbecken auf,dann spritzt es unkontrolliert und man ist direkt nass- da fehlt was im Wasserhahn. Mengen- und Temperaturregler in Dusche muss man erst mal verstehen- widerspricht dem normalen Mechanismus. Der Ablauf in Dusche ist schlecht gemacht- Wasser läuft zum Teil bis ins Zimmer- man muss aufpassen dass Duschkopf Richtung Wand zeigt,sonst ist alles überflutet. Abluftventilator läuft ununterbrochen- Tag UND N A C H T. Keine WC- Bürste vorhanden. Türgriff an Schiebetür ist sehr eng gesetzt- man muss aufpassen wenn mit linker Hand zugezogen wird,dass Hand nicht einklemmt. Steuerungsregler Klimaanlage lose. Fussboden in Aufzug "klebt"- was an mangelnde Reinigung denken lässt.
