Room and hotel lobby were clean. There weren't many amenities, but I didn't need any as I was just staying for the night, leaving early in the morning. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Since I left the hotel at 5:00 am, it was too early for breakfast, but the lady at the desk put together a lunch bag for me with a peanut butter and jelly bagel, fruit, and water.

Staff did not seem to be very knowledgeable or motivated. There was no maid service during the stay. Breakfast was not kept replenished. We went down for breakfast at about 8:45 and there were only two pieces of bread left for toast, no syrup for waffles, bacon looked raw. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable.

I spent two days at this hotel in Port Clinton, Ohio, and it was one of the best hotel stays I've had in a long time. The room was spotless, with beautiful water views and wildlife. Breakfast was very good as well. What truly stood out was Holly. She went above and beyond her duties and made my stay extra special with her kindness and care. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
