This property is something else! It is extremely spacious, tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. But as awesome as the indoor space is, the real winner here was the outdoor patio! We loved drinking wine and playing cards while overlooking the sea and the old town. We also enjoyed a dip in the hot tub! Our stay felt very relaxing and luxurious. We had some fresh fruit waiting for us which was a nice touch. The host was very quick in responding to any questions we had and accommodated our request in storing our bags for a couple hours post check out time which we were very grateful for as it gave us an opportunity to explore a bit longer. We loved our stay here and already recommended it to several friends planning their trip to Dubrovnik.

Shanti was a beautiful place to stay. Very cute and clean in the heart of Oldtown Dubrovnik. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and tours. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and we recommend it to anyone going to Dubrovnik! PS, I would have your Uber/Taxi drop you off on the main street so you can minimize the number of stairs you have to climb/descend while carrying luggage.

Our apartment was perfect: very clean inside, two bathrooms, everything worked perfect, beds very comfortable, inside the ancient walls and easy to get to everything. The only minor issues were first entering the steps up were dirty and then the door lock was fussy. But then walking in was perfect and I have no problem giving 5 stars.

Staff was excellent but they could not prevent the STENCH that hit us when we walked into the unit. The maid was sent the next day to clean, she did that as well as she could. However, that was not the origins of the sewer smell. It gave relief for a few hours the. Came roaring back again from the bathroom, not from outside the apt. We could not use the second bathroom because of the smell and it permeated the entire unit. . Manager said, “I’m very sorry that you are not feeling comfortable, and I completely understand your frustration. 🙏🌸Unfortunately, this is not an issue with the cleanliness of the apartment or the toilet. The apartment and all the plumbing installations are completely new, so there is no problem with the condition of the I completely understand that this is unpleasant, and I am truly sorry that it affected your stay. We have done everything we can from our side, including sending the maid to check and clean the bathroom, but unfortunately cleaning cannot resolve an issue that comes from the city sewage”. I would NOT have booked this room if there was a risk of foul smells that made it uninhabitable. There was no disclosure from management, nor were there any comments about this in the reviews. I CANNOT recommend this apt.
