Good clean place to stay for a night or longer. Bed is comfy and room is spacious as well. Only issue is not remote for the tv and water gets all over the floor while you shower

Cute Motel

Cute motel that has been recently updated. Rooms on the small side but well done with quality work and materials. I hope they plan to add wall hooks, a railing or a dresser to hold clothing since there was not a closet.

Don’t stay here

The amenities in the room were upgraded however the location was bad! Super ghetto outside def felt unsafe! The walls were thin and people partied all night our room had a broken fire alarm that went off while we were sleeping at 2am not only did it wake up our children but we were terrified thinking it was a real LA fire!! The bed was not comfortable barely got any rest. They don’t offer ice or water fountain and they charge for parking per night - something hotels.com doesn’t warn you!

Nice room but needs improvements

The room was nice and clean. However, their room phones don’t work and also their TV remote. There is only one garbage can in the whole room which was located in the bathroom. They should’ve put more garbage cans all over the room. According to the front desk, I was told that they just opened up 20 days ago.

Someone left food and it smelled HORRIBLE from the refrigerator. Someone left a dirty on towel and bed sheets. No one cleaned the floor. The bed wasn't comfortable at all. It was really small for pricey night. It was disappointing. Even, we don't feel safe in that area where we cannot take a bus. We had to walk more than 20 minutes to get to the hotel from metro center. The bed is too close to the door. It freaks me out in some way. Just so glad we left. Thanks.

Odd room

I’m not complaining but just reviewing so that things can be fixed for future guests. The room was not two king beds like it said on the hotels.com site. It was enough space but it wasn’t as advertised. It seems like the hotel was recently renovated. The tv remote was still in its original packaging. There was not a single trash can in the room. There was no coffee maker but there were coffee cups and cream and sugar packs . Just seemed odd .

We had a 3 bed room with 6 family members in it and the only bathroom had a sliding barn style door on it that did not close properly (it would slide back open a bit after being closed because it was installed unevenly) and there was no way to latch or lock it. We had to rig it by stuffing a cloth under the door each time to keep it closed anytime we needed to use the bathroom- pretty ridiculous. They also had motion sensitive lights at the bottom of the beds so the bright lights would come on in the middle of the night anytime anyone needed to use the bathroom- disturbing all of the other sleepers. We also asked for an iron to iron our clothes and they said someone else was using it and it would be few hours but we needed it before that so that was disappointing. We also needed to check out early in the morning around 6am and it was unclear how to check out- there was no one at the desk, no directions, and no one came when we rang the bell so we just slipped our card under the window and left it on the desk.

I would NOT recommend this place. Looks like a motel in an unsafe area. Check in at 7 pm (opens after 3 pm) but they did not inform me my 3 bed room is no longer available and no equal substitute. They downgraded me and wanted to charge me for the same price until I insisted they adjust the price. Still over paid and 20 min later and after talking to Expedia. They told me to call Expedia to request a partial refund. No lobby - check in desk where I stand outside and talk to them like ordering tickets at a movie theater. They were doing reservations on a hand written sheet of paper and were whispering until I asked is there a problem with my reservation, and wouldn’t tell me right away that my room was not available. Lastly, no closet or place to hang anything nor trash can. Room is small and overpriced, esp based on quality of service and room.

Let me start by saying I was traveling with my 7yr daughter for spring break to take her to Universal Studios Hollywood for her first time. I've traveled to Southern California many times and stayed all over and know what the locations and neighborhoods are like of where I'm booking. Location is good and was the least of the issues. Booked for 3 nights and couldn't of asked for a better location or price. But that's was about it. Floors were dirty and had stains and crumbs all over. Not swept or mopped. The shower was dirty with what looked like dried throwup on the walls and shower floor. No toilet paper, nowhere to hang your towels and housekeeping never came to clean or replenish all 3 nights. The bed had 3 thin sheets with no blaket/comforter and 2 pillows that the cleaning lady brought to the room before we received our room key. TV didn't work and nowhere to put your luggage or things as the rooms didn't have any kind of table or chairs and no garbage can besides the little one in the bathroom that was never emptied. Upon checking in, the owner was wanting to run my card to pay for the room that I had already booked and paid for online a week prior. They never asked for a credit card deposit (as listed online). Can be loud and parking is open to what's available and pull up to your room as it more of a motel than hotel. I walked out the second morning to a man in the parking lot with no pants on and just a shirt going through his things to get dressed for the day.
