A very nice stay in Maastricht
The Derlon is in a great location.- big parking garage down the street, wonderful cafes across the street and a bit removed from the busy center but all within walking distance. The hotel itself has a modern and clean interior. As you enter the hotel you walk through the bar and dining area to the reception desk. The breakfast area is downstairs where you will be surrounded by history! You will able to see the foundations of the church next door which were discovered during construction. The room was nicely decorated - blues, greens - quiet, very clean, good internet, comfortable bed, welcoming staff. All-in-all a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Central, friendly, nice, but...
Hotel Derlon in Maastricht is a nice hotel placed in the absolute centre of the town. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and furthermore it was well equipped with Nespresso coffee machines, pods and toiletries en masse. The breakfast was served in the Roman Museum Cellar, making the experience very unique. Why not a full smile then.... The room was rather outdated and could do with a refurbishment, the bathroom even more so, as the shower was placed in the bathtub. Overall nice, but not fantastic.
