We stayed at Canadian for a week. In the Junior Suite, a lovely spacious room with great views. Overall our stay was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again

Beautiful setting

The pool, lobby and view from the deck was sheer beauty! Much more of a nature vibe than your average hotel. I’ll definitely be back here in my next Thai trip. Why would I stay anywhere else?

Lack of staff meant rooms were not cleaned, tables were not cleared and bins were not emptied. Nice view of Kata beach from pool area. Gym is a death trap.

Great hotel with nice view

Nice hotel which has a wonderful pool area with a view of the sea. Rooms are nice and clean, however the pillow is a bit too big and hard in our opinion. The staff are friendly and accommodating, we received particularly good service from Chiman who works in the restaurant. Shuttle bus is avaiable from the hotel to Kata Beach every hour which works flawlessly. However, the last bus is at 5 p.m., which is a bit early, it could be nice to have an extra option at 6 p.m. as well. Breakfast is ok, expect about the same every day, but absolutely nothing is missing. We recommend this hotel to couples, friends and family alike.

Nice pool area and view of the bay. Cleanliness is soso, staff are underpaid immigrants who look unhappy and mostly forgot how to smile. Some staff are super helpful, some just standing around asking for room number (for breakfast) but not trying to be helpful. Eggs for breakfast were not comparable to the fresh ‘farm to table’ eggs we had in Laos but probably we are too spoilt. Overall a bit of a mixed experience.

The hotel is located close to Kata's main street, although on a very steep short stretch of hill. The hill is walkable as long as you're reasonably healthy and not wearing flip flops. Alternatively the hotel provided a shuttle service to the beach. The hotel is tastefully decorated, with a luxurious reception area to welcome you. The outside areas are spacious and thoughtfully designed, especially around the triple pool area.The beach vista with stunning views over Kata beach is very beautiful and a major reason to choose this hotel. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite which had a large balcony area with an outside jacuzzi. The upgrade was the icing on the cake for us. It truly enhanced our amazing experience at this stylish hotel.

Deluxe Double Room (#201) review

Overall it was a nice stay. A few areas need to be aware of: 1. The road outside of the hotel is steep and difficult to walk. Have no proper pavement or lights, I need to keep my phone light on at night to make sure cars/bikes wouldn’t hit me. 2. The property is not close to the beach. Luckily they provide rides every hour. The pool & beach view is really nice, it wouldn’t be a problem if you love to stay within the resort area only. 3. Rooms are full of mosquitoes and some bed bugs. At the first few nights, room keeper sprayed pesticide but the smell hurt my nose. We ask them not to spray the room then bugs start to show up. We believed one reason is that the room keeper leave the door open the entire time while cleaning 4. Room is spacious, but the layout is weird. We stayed at the deluxe double which the bed is set in the middle of the room. The AC is positioned at the ceiling behind the bed, forcing cold air on my head directly all night gives me headache, but turning AC off would be too hot. 5. Toilets at the reception and next to the pool are full of mosquitoes too. Staffs are extremely helpful & nice. One staff gave us an insect repellent (without me asking) during breakfast because she saw me swatting. And we got greeted by the owner one morning! (He has a sweet grandpa kind of look, very cheerful!) After all the price is worth the stay👍

Hotel on a hill with an amazing view

Overall a good hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Especially the manager Wan and hotel staff Nan. At first we weren't satisfied with the room because it was an older not refurbished part of the hotel. The staff gave us a different room in the new refurbished part of the hotel with nicer newer room. The hotel is beautiful and has a nice view over Kata beach. Although the hotel is up a slight hill without sidewalks there is shuttle to Kata Beach every hour. Pool area was good and the gym had everything you need for a holiday workout. Make sure you book in the new part of the hotel.

I requested half an hour more to check out and the staff urged me to rush out then I had to wait 20 minutes to get my luggage and the room checked before I could go Leaving at 12:30 would’ve been convenient and would have left enough time for them to do the room so I think staff training could be optimized by a large amount Otherwise, very nice room

Avoid this place absolutely

Terrible experience staying at Andaman property Not sure why the property calls itself 5 star when it is barely 3 star at best Staff is rude and doesn’t respond to requests at all, We were kept waiting to checkin for 90 mins after we were assured of check in The bed is absolutely horrible and of absolutely poor quality The bathtub poses safety risk as there is no step or anti slip arrangement and bathtub is the only shower arrangement available Amenities are very poor with poor quality toiletries Food is expensive and is of the worst quality imaginable, passable breakfast and such poor quality of beverages Absolutely unsatisfactory experience, rather embarrassing as my partner was with me, Avoid at all costs, unreasonably priced, incorrect star rating and extremely poor customer experience

Property is good value for what you get. Has all the facilities and food/drink you’d want in Thailand. Location is good, however, short walks to and from the hotel aren’t the safest so you need transport even for a 1 minute ride. Staff were attentive during the first part of my stay but service dropped as the hotel filled up (I asked for fresh towels for 2 days and eventually had to go and grab some from the laundry cupboard myself).

Hotel surplombant kata beach, lui offrant une superbe vue sur celle-ci. Hotel certes en hauteur avec un acces un peu difficile si on le tente à pieds (compensé par une navette faisant des allers retours jusqu a 22h), mais c est ce qui lui permet d etre un lieu calme et paisible, contrastant avec le tumulte de l acces a la plage. This is the second time we have stayed at Andaman Cannacia Resort and Spa. It truly does not disappoint. Location, staff, amenities and views cannot be faulted. Perfectly positioned with views up the coastline, it is a truly wonderful place to stay in Kata.

A nossa estadia foi simplesmente maravilhosa. À chegada foi-nos dado um upgrade de a suite atribuída era de tirar o fôlego. Vista para a praia desafogada, com privacidade total. Um Jacuzzi no terraço para poder apreciar a vista. Áreas do quarto super amplas. Cheirinho a spa pelo quarto e pelo hotel. Música relaxante e recantos românticos por todo o resort. Ideal para relaxar e namorar. Transporte para a praia tornando a estadia super cómoda. Perto da praia existem mercados de fruta/comida super em conta e com comida fresca maravilhosa. Todo o staff é incansável e sempre pronto a melhorar a experiência do cliente. Recomendo a 100%

Rimelig og flott hotell

Bodde på flere hoteller i løpet av oppholdet nå juli/aug. Dette var det desidert beste. Service innstillte og behjelpelig. Shuttle bil opp og ned til stranden hele dagen. Flott uteområdet. Boblebasseng og flere bade muligheter. Spa og fitnessrom. Tar ca 10 min å gå til gå gata.

因為洒店在山坡上有一條大斜波步行上落地面非常辛苦，酒店有穿梭巴士，但時間只去到五點每1小時一班到卡達海灘，今次入住兩晚住頂層，酒店沒有電梯要步行四層到房有些不便，房間整體都算大有大露台不過會看到隔離房露台因為連接的，私隱度不久。
