Lovely flat in a great location to the bay and town center but i think dree parking would be nice as twn pound a day adds up when you stay a while other than parking fees i cant fault the flat .

Weekend stay

Good base for exploring cardiff and surrounding area. Secure facility. Close to shops and restaurants. Feel apartment would benefit from a lamp in the lounge area otherwise was good

Very nice place to stay in Cardiff

We stayed for 10 days at Century Wharf and our stay was very nice. The studio itself was comfortable even if a bit small, and the whole complex is very calm and secure, and ideally situated, near Mermaid Quay! The only issue we had was about cleanliness has there were a few unclean plates. But apart from that, we had a very nice time in Cardiff!

It’s an interesting property. I had a sixth-floor studio with balcony overlooking the river. It was well appointed, clean and comfortable. There was very little noise from neighbours, and none from outside. Pre-check-in communication, as well as checking in with the concierge, was great, but the ins and outs of navigating security and the layout of the place took a bit of getting used to. All in all, a positive experience.

Spacious and Comfortable apartment

It was great, the apartment was nice but the lamps in the bedroom need dusting and the blinds are broken. Other than that everything was great, updating the TV’s to smart TV’s would be a good shout too.

Good but parking communication was poor

My partner had a good stay in that were close to the city and had all the facilities that we needed. The downside was that we had paid for a permit to park in the car park. However, we were not given the permit on arrival. We called and were told someone would be in touch and drop it off the following day. No one was in touch. It wasn’t nice worrying whether we were going to get a parking ticket during our two day stay. Luckily this wasn’t the case.

Recommended stay

Stayed in Prague house. Started off with lovely welcome from Dan, very friendly. Got to apartment, lovely & clean. Only problem was no hairdryer left & only 1 bath towel (couple) but with a quick phone call, Dan brought us a hairdryer & another bath towel. However, there was no hand towel left.

Beautiful appartment with stunning views

Very clean and well equiped appartment with stunning views over the river. Only A ten minute walk from the Bay. Took a while to get our bearings in the actual complex, got lost at night for about an hour. Could do with outside appartment maps. This is our only concern and it wouldnt stop us returning. Well worth the money!

Family weekend.

Very nice apartment although there were a few broken electrical switches and some of the blinds for the window did not fully go down all the way. Beds were adequately comfortable however we found during our stay we had been bitten multiple times in the night, possibly by bed bugs as we could see little mite-like insects in the bed. Overall apart from the issues listed above; was a pleasant stay, located in a decent place around many shops and cultural buildings.

Good quiet location close to town centre

Location was good, only 15 minute walk from Cardiff Central yet still a quiet area. Flat was nice and had everything I needed. It is in need of a bit of a refresh as slightly tatty in places but would not put me off staying. Only issue was I could not sleep with the fridge turned on. No appliance should make that noise and it was constant. The milk there when I arrived was a nice touch after a long travel.

Visit May 23

An amazing view from the apartment looking down the Taff over to Penarth Head. I only really used the flat to sleep as I was down for a major social event for the weekend. So it met my needs. From what I saw in the flat, all facilities available and a good little welcome cleaning pack. Roughly about 15 minute walk to the city as Dumbballs Road is very industrial I didn't consider walking back after dark, however £7 in a taxi doesn't seem bad I would certainly stay again when I'm down visiting family

I highly recommend this studio. The view was incredible! Big widows with the whole of Cardiff Bay visible. It was quite clean but some old water damage to the carpet needs to be sorted. The kitchen was great, though I would have preferred a dishwasher to a washer-dryer, as we only stayed 2 nights. A frying pan would have been useful too but we were fine without. The bathroom was very clean and the bath much appreciated after long walks around the Bay. All in all, really lovely and worth every penny. We will probably book again if needs be.
Cal, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

My parents in their 70s could not believe that beds had been made up with filthy bedding. My mother noticed only when striping sheets at the end to help. The photos were horrific: it was difficult to exchange keys. Very conveniently situated for the bay but my parents will return to using the hotels when they visit me in Cardiff in future.
Nicola, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Very good access point for most of the key things in Cardiff, on a sunny day there are some lovely walks nearby and walking in to the city centre took about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, while we didn’t expect a super modern or high spec apartment, we were surprised by how bare boned it was. You have everything you need but it really it is just somewhere to put your head down. The TV is unreasonably old, and just didn’t work. There is a dvd player, it wasn’t flagged to us that we’d need to take some and while you generally don’t go away to watch tv, the option of some morning tv with our coffees would have been nice. The shower had a severe and audible leak, whoever had cleaned the apartment must have been aware as the shower head was adjusted to lower the sound. This suggests to me little attention in the upkeep of the properties. There are also many mold spots in the bathroom which should be addressed. On arriving, the concierge in century wharf were lovely to deal with, so helpful, supporting our parking issue, but don’t go to them for any needs after this point and there was one employee in particular who was pretty rude. Ensure you book parking in plenty of time. We had phoned the day before about parking but I guess as it was an events weekend, the spaces were all sold out. To be fair, I didn’t inform urban spaces of issues until the day of check-out. we were only there a few days and didn’t want to interrupt our time away. There is a lot to be addressed.

4/10 Fair

booked deluxe accommodation as a treat no balcony tiny living area. one mug, dirty carpets which they said are due to change tiny double bed not kingsize, curtains covered in holes in living area and curtains filthy in bedroom did let them know I wasn't happy but no contact from them to apologise, resavation email says 2pm check in but found out day before its 3 pm so quiet late. cardiff was lovely and accommodation if I'd booked budget and it was clean would have been great.

Handy apartment, cleanliness & communication poor

Apartment was fine and handybfor town bit communciation was terrible, we paid the extra for breakfast, i wouldnt recommend that as very poor, bins in bathroom were still full from previous guests, have tried to contact them direct and received no response

Average

I had no problems with my stay but just a few pointers for others which might be useful . - there is no front desk so if you were arriving early and your room wasn’t ready there is nowhere to stow luggage . - it is essentially a residential property - there are no toiletries in the bathroom - it’s quite remote , a good 10 minutes walk to mermaid quay and maybe 25 mins to the Castle . - apartment wasn’t really very clean , there was even a pair of knickers behind one of the curtains! - good WiFi connection.
