The park features 51 water slides, 2 wave pools, and numerous other attractions including river rapids, bumper boats, a dedicated play area for younger children, and a 4D cinema. Another popular destination is the Tommy Bartlett Exploratory; an interactive science center housing a host of educational rides and exhibits, which introduce kids to the wonders of the universe in a fun and accessible way. The Tommy Bartlett Ski, Sky and Stage Show, which runs from May to September each year, has an almost legendary local status. This jaw-dropping display of waterski stunts takes place on Lake Delton throughout the summer months, come rain or shine.

How to get to Lake Delton, Wisconsin

Lake Delton is most easily accessible by car, located just an hour’s drive to the north of Madison on I-90. It is possible to get a Greyhound bus from Madison to nearby Wisconsin Dells, but these are relatively irregular and it is important to check in advance which days the bus is available. The nearest entry point by air is Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, which offers domestic flights to 13 cities in the United States. General Mitchell International Airport, which is a 2-hour drive away in Milwaukee, serves many international and domestic destinations.
