Very good
It is a super cool hotel, but not good for kids under 18 years old because all the Gym are not allowed them in.

Overall Amazing. Gracious service. Great location in newest "neighborhood" in NYC.

Rejuvenating stay
We had a fun and relaxing stay! Vivian (works at the front desk) was so welcoming. We enjoyed using the gym, the pool, and the spa. The room was very nice. We didn't have a great night of sleep - the pillows were not as comfortable as we've experienced in other hotels. Overall, a great hotel and we'd certainly return.

Good
The Pool Is Great (very crowded but great)
We picked this place for the pool and the pool is cool. It’s open to the gym members and residents though, as well as hotel guests. When we arrived around 4:15 on Friday there were 142 people in front of us waiting for a poolside chair! We just staked a claim to some floor space... We might have arrived sooner but the check in desk was not open at designated check in time due to a photo shoot. This was quite poorly handled- we were told to wait in a designated area and then told to move to another spot up against the wall. No apologies from a single staff person. Staff were like preprogrammed robots in white suits with no facial expression or emotion... we did not feel welcomed until the next day when a staff person in street level lobby was very welcoming. Bedding, towels, amenities were of the quality you would expect at a high end hotel but the only special touch is two bed covers - one for each person so no need to share. A nice tv screen in the room but you need to access your own video account via Prime, Hulu, HBO as there was no tv channels provided. The 29th floor was noisy with street sounds- more so than other 30th floor rooms we’ve stayed in. West Side Highway and helicopter landings were constant back noise. A blinking green light near ceiling was especially annoying after shades were lowered- we finally put a pillow atop the cabinet to reduce the impact. Overall the location and the pool were what we wanted ... and got. Not much else.
