Over Expectations
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The cabin was very clean and welcoming! The weather was so nice that we ate our Thanksgiving on a picnic table❣️ Loved having two bathrooms😍 Plenty of room outside! Would definitely stay if we come that way again! Thank you!

Nice little gem
Very nice little secluded place, close to all the major stores and restaurants within 10 miles. The property is nice with lots of space for having fun, like playing horseshoes, taking nice walks, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, or just sitting outside talking in the beautiful scenery. House is very nice with most everything you need, except there was no iron and ironing board, but we brought our own. Overall a great experience, owner was available to answer all questions or concerns that I had. We would definitely return to this place again.

Quaint/Cozy
This place really was great;view,feel,etc. Rather home-ish. We stayed in the upper level. The lower level was not occupied until the 3rd evening of our 4 night stay; never heard or seen. Spacious enough for 4 people,and had every amenity we needed; for cooking,etc. Beds were comfortable. Host responded swiftly to all communications; though we never met them. On occasion,we did notice some 'sewer'(?) odor,and the microwave started chirping one morning around 5a.m. we contacted the host. Though we got a quick response(said maintenance would be by soon),nobody showed up. Flat Rock and surrounding areas are just great; climate is super. You have to see Chimney rock! We'd stay again,no doubt.

Convenient location
Was a nice stay very comfortable. The people downstairs were loud, but the owners handled the issue quickly. No further problems. House was located close to interstate which made it easy to go places.

Very clean!!!!
We enjoyed our stay in the upper unit of this condo. The condo was very clean and even though we didn't use it, the kitchen was well stocked. The price was really reasonable for 4 of us to stay and any questions that I had were answered really quickly!!

Outside vacation.
Arrived to check in. Cabin locked. After four frantic text , three hours later a man arrived to open the locks. No introduction, simply “Are you locked out”! No, I’m standing outside in the cold because I’m a polar bear. He fiddled with new keys and lock. He asked how long we had been there. I replied 3 hours and 15 minutes. He said, “Oh well!”, got in his truck and drove off. No conversation. No do you need anything. Off he went like the Long Ranger in his pretty white new truck. I was cold, damp and by this time a bit taken back. The cabin is quaint and met our needs. When I turn down the covers on one bed it needed to be made up again. The pillows in the smaller bedroom had a pillow and food behind the bed. We cleaned up a bit. After much todo we finally got settled. Pajamas on and feeling warmer there was a very loud bang on our door. Man and women downstairs were locked out. Man wanted women to sit on front front. NO chairs He wanted women to use our bathroom. WOW. God does not want me to stay here. I don’t know who these people are but I’ve been locked out too. Invite them to come in. Had to hear about someone who died of cancer. I have a very kind heart but I’m walking the same road and I come to Asheville to get away from hearing this. Something got in the garbage about 2:00am. Horrible noise. Big mess. Wasn’t my garbage. Enough. Enough. Like I said the cabin is quaint. I think your visit will be memorable. I love nature and loved location. A little difficult to find first time. Great trees. No stream. Maybe this was just a weekend that was meant to be. Better than my treatments back home. Enjoy your stay.

Clean, cute duplex
This is the top level of a duplex. There is ample parking, a huge yard for kiddos to run around in, picnic tables, and a fire pit on the property. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Love that they have extra towels available and not just 1 per person! They also provide basics like paper towels, dish soap, and toilet paper (which a lot of rental properties do not!).

Great little house!
This little house was great! It's actually two units - one on the upper level and one on the lower level. This particular unit is the upper level. It was very clean, had plenty of towels/washcloths, and even had things we weren't necessarily expecting like toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and dish soap (not all rentals have that stuff!). There is a screened in porch as well as a back deck. There is also an area with picnic tables on the property. It is very quiet and you feel like you're in the country but it's just a couple miles into Flat Rock, a few minutes to get to Hendersonville, and about half an hour to Asheville. Attractions that are reasonably close include Chimney Rock (about 45 minutes), Pisgah National Forest (30 minutes), NC Arboretum (30 minutes), Blue Ridge Parkway (30 minutes), and lots of apple orchards (10-45 minutes away depending on which one you go to). There were several produce stands close to the house and of course grocery stores, drug stores, etc. were a short drive away. We also found a little park with a playground about 5 minutes from the house which was great for the kids. Check in/out was very easy and it was very easy to contact the owner with any questions. We liked it so much we'll be happy to rent it again!
