They never replied to any emails, forgot something in the room and that was apparently never found. Downstairs restaurant is quite loud too. Ppl are very friendly but without following though.

This really is a boutique hotel.This area is becoming local hip + the bar downstairs was quite busy in the evening.The rooms are small but bright.Everything decorated in good taste.It appeared that the TV was not subscribed to any English channels + I was the only non Asian guest but the young lady at the front desk spoke good English. Freshly ground coffee for breakfast with toast + jam.Cooked Asian food available. Easy walk to KOMTAR where the bus station + mall is. Demolition work in progress across the street but they didn't wake me until 8am. No lift and polished wooden floors are slippy without shoes which you are required to remove. Enjoyed my stay though.

This is a newly renovated guesthouse with lovely, helpful staff in a heritage building. Rooms are small with no drawer space at all and only 4 coat hangers on a rail; as we were there for a week this was a problem for us (we got 4 more hangers when we asked). Breakfast is very basic, the best thing being toast and jam. There are hot options but these are cooked early and left to go cold; in such a small property it would be easy to cook items freshly to order. The location is great with street food opposite and Komtar and Prangin Malls for lots of choice in eateries. Tip: buses are extremely cheap and download Grab App for cheap car journeys.
