I just finished staying at the beautiful Villa Verano with my sister. We were the only guests there and Stanley was kind enough to open the kitchen and other rooms even though we only booked one room. The property was absolutely beautiful and the pool and rooftop hot tub were wonderful. It was very easy to use the front desk to arrange tours and transfers. One of my favorite parts was the little air conditioned gym. The cardio equipment was only 1 bike and 1 elliptical and could use some updating, but it was cool and I appreciate it being there at all. There was no restaurant, but there were several very good ones a short walk away. The actual village of Hopkins was about a 15 minute walk down the beach, or the resort provides you with bikes. Overall I had a great experience and would love to return some day.

Hot tub wasn't working when we arrived. Staff said they'd fix it, but didn't. So 3 out 5 stars. The building and beach are great, but the people running it not so much.

Quaint Villa with all modern amenities
The property is very well laid out and it is right on the beach. It has the charm of a large home thereby allowing you to feel much more relaxed. They have a lot of amenities such as paddleboarding and kayaks for the guests to enjoy the water activities.
