About this home
Latimer House is a lovely large Georgian house, with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, sleeps 6 -14 people, perfect for multi-gen families or friends. It Includes a gorgeous stylish & separate self contained apartment for 2, located under the main house, which is ideal for anyone who enjoys a little extra privacy. (It also has a separate entrance.)
In the main house there is a lovely large dining room, just off the kitchen which is great for meals or games and a pretty sitting room with a balcony and lovely view of the sea and van gogh Spencer square.
There is a pretty (south west facing) sheltered and sunny courtyard garden, with a bbq perfect for outside meals or a pre-dinner drink after a day on the beach.
The house is in a fantastic location. Very near to the Royal Harbour, beaches, restaurants and shops. Tennis courts opposite. Plenty of pubs and nice restaurants in walking distance. Great walks (including the Viking trail), sailing, fishing, surfing, cycling. This is an ideal place to stay for your golfing holiday. Kent has some of the best golf courses in the country including the Open venue in 2021, Royal St George's. Also nearby are The Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, Prince's Golf Club and North Foreland Golf Club
There is Free parking on street and if busy there is plenty of free parking a short walk away. We also provide a private parking space on the next street.
The house is Ideal for multi-generations of family holidaying together. Just be aware there are lots of stairs so not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
The house is particularly popular for big birthdays and other family celebrations. Equally good for groups of friends enjoying a break away - golf trips, walkers, book clubs, reunions. There is Something for everyone, all ages. As there is plenty of space no one is on top of each other. There is lots to do within 10 minute walk.
Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour is a very short walk away and is really pretty. Full of cafe’s, restaurants. Next doors Addington Street has several nice independent shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. There is a corner shop and Waitrose a short walk away as well as a fabulous bakery. We provide a list of places, walks, ideas of what to do during your stay.
We can also recommend local caterers and restaurants who can bring the food to you and clear up after you if you want the 'restaurant from home' experience.

Weekend stay to celebrate family birthdays
We had a lovely weekend in the property to celebrate a couple of family big birthdays. The house was very comfortably able to accommodate all 13 of us including 5 young children/babies. It’s nicely decorated, well supplied and in a very convenient location for exploring ramsgate. The host was very helpful, communicative and allowed us to check in early and check out late (a whole extra night) because the house was free. Would highly recommend, we had a great weekend

Great place to stay
The house was extremely well situated with an open outlook, sea views and close to the town centre. The accommodation was clean, spacious and most comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Beautiful house in a fab location!
This is a beautiful house in a great location. It suited our multi-generational family group brilliantly. The house was very well equipped with everything you might need, as well as a lovely little balcony with views of the sea and a well maintained garden. There were plenty of shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby and there is lots to explore in Ramsgate and the surrounding towns. The owner was very helpful before and during our stay and was keen to ensure we enjoyed our holiday and had everything we needed.

Holiday home from home
My sisters and my family rented the house for a week in July 2021. It was a lovely house and plenty big enough for the 10 adults and 2 children. All of the rooms were a good size and it was a really great layout. The garden is very well maintained with lots of lovely flowers and plenty of seating. The basement flat is lovely too. The beds were nice and comfy - something I always worry about when going away. It’s in a great location for a stroll along the seafront or a day on the beach although there are many great bays in the area that are a must to visit and all around just 15 minutes by car. There are tons of great restaurants within easy walking distance. All in all we had a wonderful holiday. Many thanks Deanna, we would definitely book again!

Our stay was amazing, made better by the fabulous house, it felt like home from the start.
With the current climate of Covid, we found Deanna a great host. She answered any queries promptly and checked in with us while there to make sure we were having a good time away. We'll definately be back. The house and garden were better than the pictures showed. We were sad to leave.

We had a fantastic stay in Ramsgate. The house is very well located. Dee is very helpful and responsive. She gave us plenty of information and tips on the available activities in the area. From tennis across the road, different walks, golfs in the area and surfing in Broadstairs. In a word, it was great!
