Rustic but modern-styled 2-story studio in Porto
Nice, big, modern-styled, two-story studio in easily walkable neighborhood in Porto. I traveled solo so the studio was more than enough space for me, but I would recommend it for couples as well with its plenty of room. Restroom and kitchen are updated and had good amenities/everything you need. Studio had fridge, TV, and fireplace. Keyless entry was super easy for check-in & out process. One word of caution, there was no elevator and unit was up on 4th floor.

Large and good location
Step In was a huge accomodation in a very convenient location. Check in is self - service and very easy. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs, but they aren't steep. I would suggest adding some more decorations on the walls and in the hall to help cut down the echo. Overall a pleasant experience.

A hotel nightmare!
The staff are not on premises in the evening and through the night. They are trying to run it remotely. Not a good idea as are their electronic room door codes in place of keys. We returned at night to get back in to our unit after dinner and our door code didn’t work. We tried to contact the management with the two numbers printed on their business card and neither worked. (Incidentally, their business card doesn’t contain the addresses of the establishment in addition to containing two non functioning telephone numbers? What a business card!). After about an hour and a half of attempting to contact the establishment through Hotels.com we finally spoke with someone representing the establishment and they weren’t willing to make the half hour trip to the hotel but after many attempts finally provided us with an entry code. Not a good experience for us.

Not happy with our stay.
Key didn’t work so we had to wait over an hour to get in. Staff not on premises and very slow to respond to our problem with electronic key problem. The business card of hotel didn’t have a phone number that was in service nor did it have the address of the hotel printed on it. Generally, the owners don’t know what they are doing and shouldn’t be running a hotel. It was amateur night!

Its brand new so they still have a few things to sort out. No cork screw was a shock also a clear window above door allowed light from stair area. They rectified this straight away though with cardboard. Lovely apartment with lots of use of mirrors and kitchen with stove top.
