The room was very clean and the desk person very helpful and friendly. The location was next to a gas station with a "cafe" attached. The cafe food was very good. On the other hand, the parking lot was immense...ours was the only car in the parking lot until about 8 in the evening. The sign of the Comfort Zone was half fallen apart. The desk person said she had talked to the owner, but nothing has been done. The place really had the look of a deserted, out of business motel. But overall, for our purposes and in our limited budget it worked very well.

The staff was great. This is definitely a mom-and-pop type hotel which is alright. I slept on the pullout bed and didn't sleep the best but it was alright. I would say my biggest complaint is that on their website it said coffee was available in the lobby but there was none. Overall a good experience.

A litle touch of heaven
I always look forward to staying at the Comfort Zone Inn in Rothsay, MN. The service is fantastic and they always make me feel welcome. I love the home decor it feels like home, not a cold impersonal hotel room.
