    Perfect stay

    Booked for our anniversary, not the weekend we planned as pubs/restaurants were closed due to covid. Got a take away, and sat on our roof terrace Overlooking George’s square with it and a few glasses of wine. Room very comfortable with everything that we needed. Dishwasher was fab for doing our dishes on our relaxing weekend.

    So good we stayed there twice!

    We were blown away by the quality of this place...amazing attention to detail, decor, in-room facilities etc. Huge comfy beds were a massive plus also! We re-booked to stay there a few nights later as we stopped in glasgow on a road trip through scotland.

    Very central, nice room and easy check in process. 5th floor corridors smelled, rather unpleasantly, of food over the 3 days we were there. False fire alarm at 8.30 on second day, no update on what caused this.

    great stop over in Glasgow

    We stayed here for one night, the rooms are modern, very spacious, comfortable with every home comfort you could wish for. Nice powerful shower, big comfy bed and right in the heart of Glasgow Centre, would be happy staying here for a month or two!! Will definitely stay here again,

    Sleepless Nights

    Our room was above the ally where bar next door emptied bottles into bins every 20 minutes until 1am!!! It kept waking up my 10 month old baby. And then at 6am the bin men came to empty the bottle bins & that was even louder, so we had a screaming baby on our hands after only 4 hours sleep. We asked on the first night what time the bars would be emptying bottles & receptionist told us no later then 9pm. By 10.30pm I went back to say it was still happening but a different receptionist told us there was nothing he could do & even though the bar knew they should stop, they wouldn’t listen to him. I asked him to call the bar as surely they have license agreements about sound control, but he was reluctant “as they never listen to the complaints & do it anyway”. The second night was even worse & staff remained unhelpful in us resolving this. So we had 2 nights with only a few hours of sleep between 1am & 6am. All the rooms on that side of the building would have had the same problem (minus the screaming baby!!). I would have been miffed if it was just us adults as the bottles woke me up too, but with a baby to contend with as well, it made our stay one we were glad when it was over. The room was nice & clean.... shame staff could not have tried harder to help us by either moving us to quieter room or at least showed interest in our well being & grown a pair to stand up to bar who are clearly in violation of their license agreement!! Dont stay here if you want a good night sleep
