6/10 Good

Mixed results of some design/staff attitude
Pleasant and comfortable in many ways, there were a few odd design and attitude choices. One, the permanently half-open stall shower makes for a drafty (equals cold) experience, meaning either cutting showers short or staying rather longer to try and warm up. The annoyingly loud leaf-blower whirring before 8a.m. below our room's windows was bad enough, but whoever thought to allow leaf-blowing at midnight just across the street from a hotel might consider that hundreds of people might be trying to sleep at that time on a Sunday night. The lobby and restaurant were well-appointed and offered tasty refreshments. Attitude of service staff was decidedly mixed. While several hotel and restaurant employees were friendly and accommodating, more than one were curt, impatient and seemed bothered by simple, basic and politely delivered requests -- and in the case of the restaurant, made to feel especially unwelcome, even when responding to directions from wait staff.

They make everything so enjoyable.
They paid for my parking at the garage nearby. Appreciate the location near Pikes Market, dining, etc. Awesome view from the roof top terrace. They provide snacks in the lobby including chips and fruit. Coffee and rolls at breakfast time. They make everything so enjoyable.
