Beautiful boutique type hotel design, the food at their restaurant is delicious & the staff attending the restaurant are mostly kind, although there’s one gentlemen that is not very respectful of women being alone but is kind as well, just a bit sneaky; hotel staff is kind but the ladies at reception left me two days without toilet paper although I alerted them with anticipation of needing it; also they were not able to find me an iron for my clothes, customer service is very minimum at the hotel reception. Cleaning staff never cleaned my room or changed my towels & bed sheets.

Great place and people!
Super friendly and helpful staff! Also the food was great. Having a sundowner by the rooftop pool is awesome! All in all a great package for a very reasonable price and I'll definitely stay here again when I'm next in the area.

HAPPY SURPRISE
This wonderful little hotel is all about service and the guest's well being. The staff are all amazing, smiley, happy people. Very accommadating. They worked as a team. It created a very welcoming environment. The room was exactly as expected. Clean, great bedding, modern decor and a plus for us was having room with a belcony. Breakfast el fresco was great. Hot coffee, fresh juice, tasty hot and cold selections all to be enjoyed on a covered front terrace while watching the day unfold. I love people watching. The greatest surprise was a shuttle service to the Bayahibe public beach. We were provided with lounge chairs and service the the hotels sister restaurant. Very good food. It was a great way to rap up 7 weeks of holidays. Thank you to everyone at the Alkquimia for our wonderful time. Keep smiling.
