Pleasant venue
It was a pleasant place to stay and convenient for family events on Fri and Sat. The bedrooms were nice with up to date bathrooms but as we have discovered before at other venues rooms allocated via are usually not the best. On the other hand, the common rooms were a bit old fashioned. Great that they had electric car charging which we made use of on Saturday nights.

This hotel is a great find and will use again in the future. The room was comfortable, the service brilliant and the food for dinner and breakfast was delicious

Lovely country hotel.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with easy parking. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Only negatives are that there were weddings on both night of our stay. The noise from the disco on the first night was very loud and when we went to the bar for a drink when we arrived every table had glasses/rubbish on, so I had to clear a table for us. The noise of other guests going to their rooms at the end of both nights did disturb us and I would not recommend staying here when there are weddings on at the same time. We were informed about the weddings before arrival, but as we’d used some Clubcard vouchers towards the cost we were unable to cancel as we would have lost the value of them. We would stay here again, but I’d definitely phone in advance to make sure there were no weddings booked in at the same time.

Anniversary Stay
What an amazing experience we had. Amazing and welcoming when we arrived. The room was unbelievable. We stayed in the Maple room. Highly recommend. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely revisit.
