Fantastic cycling (road riding) base!
This area is a hidden gem, for road cyclists! One of the best areas, in all of Spain, if you are here, specifically, for the quality, quantity and variety of the riding. Only thing it lacks is the infrastructure to accommodate cyclists en masse. Hotel was great. But they don’t serve breakfast until 8:30am. And dinner not until 9pm! Not ideal, for cyclists, in hot weather, requiring an earlier schedule. If riding for 5-7 hours, a cyclist will miss the possibility for the lunch (2-3:30pm), unless you skip breakfast. And the very few restaurants in town, seem to be on the same schedule. This town could really capitalize on the cycling tourism, with a hotel that caters more to a cyclists needs ie. much earlier meal times, laundry facilities that allow for quick turn-around times (better yet, self-serve), easy access to jacuzzi tub - and marketing! We came upon this area, by chance - couldn’t find much info about the road riding, online. But it’s phenomenal! The hotel is in the perfect location - very quiet, w/ a beautiful view, if on the river side. If staying long term, I’d recommend renting an apartment though - just for control over meals and laundry. If this hotel is interested, check out “bike hotels” in Italy, for examples of how to really do it right.

Me a encantado el hotel y la tranquilidad. Tuvieron algunos problemas como que se equivocaron en nuestra habitacion y que no funciono el agua caliente por problemas tecnicos. Pero todo se consiguio resolver y nos invitaron al spa del hotel

Très décevant un accueil froid où il nous est répondu de suite qu’il n’y avait pas de réservation à notre nom Malgré le mail de vos services sur notre mobile Puis nous comprenons que tous les services sont payants piscine comprise alors que sur votre site celle ci est présentée comme accès libre Que le SPA soit payant c’est normal mais 5 euros pour 1 heure de piscine c’est de l’abus voir du vol en tous cas nous aurions choisis un autre hôtel si nous avions su cela Les repas de la demi pension sont justes acceptables HEUREUSEMENT qu’il y’a la gentillesse de certains mais trop rares serveurs et serveuses Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel

The hotel is located in a beautiful area that is definitely worth the visit. I would choose a different hotel next time though. Not great value for money. We were supposed to have the "spa" included but they wanted to charge us extra for it. Even then, the schedule for the spa was so inflexible that it couldn't work out. The room was very basic for a $100+/night stay. Bed was quite comfy though although it was not a double bed but two single beds put together. Parking is extra, €5/might.
