There is no light source in the bathroom. I had to put the table light on the toilet as light source.

The front desk guy ( sorry I forgot to ask for you name) was really nice, he brought me the headphone when I checked out and forgot about it at the room. Thanks! I enjoyed my stay only thing I had bit problem with the sink in the bathroom, just so narrowed and small can’t wash anything other than your hands. Other than that everything was great!

Our recent excellent stay at the Hotel DeVille
My wife and I booked our stayed at the DeVille based on the special price we were offered and liked the location (although I was concerned that the neighbourhood might be a little sketchy based on many year's old experience). I was jittery when I found the small, non-descript entrance, the plaque advertising the 2 star rating and the 3 half flights of stairs leading up to the smal reception area. Our concerns were completely unfounded ... the hallways were clean and freshly-painted. The room had been completely re-done in modern grey tones, the new mattress was delightfully firm and the tiny bathroom was ultra-modern and impeccably set-up (although there was a half-step up). And you can't beat the central location - there was a street festival underway on St Catherine and we witnessed everything from break-dancing to rock music to a classical trombone quartet to a First Nation folk dancing exhibition at Place des Arts (sure there was one nudie-bar and a sex shop nearby but so what?) Breakfast was offered but we did not stay and try it ... The only issue might be the non-access by people with mobility limitations (walkers, wheel-chairs and the like) Overall we were very impressed !

It was a very pleasant stay! The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was a little small but other than that it was a good experience!

Simply loved it!!!
The experience exceeded our expectations. Its a small hotel with few rooms. Rooms are smalland cozy with a clean comfortable bed and very clean washroom. I reached at 5:30 am in the morning and the gentleman was quick to open the door for me and checked me in within 2-3 mins. Breakfast is free, included bread, croissants, bagels, boiled eggs, cereals and tea/ coffee. All major attractions are walking distance from the hotel. The hotel staff is very courteous and friendly. It was raining the day we reached and to our surprise the front office gentleman even offered us an umbrella. I would recommend this place for someone who is looking for a safe, decent, economical and a comfortable stay and in close proximity to all major tourist attractions. PS- No kitchen facilities in the hotel, so you have to eat your dinner outside or order through uber eats.
