Very peaceful and unique. Nice quiet evenings on the balcony and very interesting story behind this gem in the rough.

Absolutely charming place and a great place to get away from the ridiculous crowds, colorless motels, and strip malls of Pullman. Well worth the 20-25 minute drive. Gourmet breakfast as well.

Choose this B&B, once a nunnery, for its warmth, it’s comfort, it’s quiet, and its charm in the midst of the lush rolling farmland of the famous Palouse hills. It’s in a village about 15 miles equidistant from two large public universities and a small liberal arts college. Two great iconic rivers of the Northwest, the Snake and the Clearwater, are nearby.

What a great find! The bed and breakfast has a great history and is intimate, comfortable and charming. The innkeepers are wonderful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and the stay was perfect! Everything a B&B should be. The town is charming but quite small and very limited on amenities, a larger town with plenty of restaurants and shopping is about 18 minutes away. Already booked my room for next year :-)

What a lovely peaceful retreat in the middle of the beautiful Palouse. Don't forget to check out the Church next door.

The Churchyard Inn had been in our sights for awhile, and our recent stay did not disappoint. We loved the atmosphere; the original character of the inn was still present, but the rooms were very cozy and comfortable, with tasteful decor, including works of several talented local artists. The food was excellent; the homemade peanut butter cookies in our room were a nice treat, and breakfast on the nice china was delicious. The hosts are gracious, and the area has much to explore. We hope to come back again!
