La Bambagina

La Bambagina was a nice little B&B. Very clean and the staff was vdg friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I just finished visiting a couple locations across Southern Italy for our honeymoon, with Amalfi being our second stop and staying at La Bambagina. It's hard to put into words how amazing Amalfi is and our stay at this location was the cherry on top. It's a small boutique style stay which was opened recently and the room/bathroom had great style and incredibly clean. The room had everything we could have asked for and had an absolutely awesome view of the main town square from our mini-balcony. It was the perfect location as it took 30 seconds to walk around to the square and a minute to get to the beach. Service staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay - and had awesome recommendations for activities/restaurants (one of which we ended up going to multiple times over our 3 day stay - Donna Stella). Would highly recommend this option - was an awesome blend of privacy, awesome location, and beautiful nice new rooms. P.S. If you're driving your own car, be prepared for the drive/traffic along the Amalfi Coast - the hotel valet service picks up your vehicle at the roundabout fountain along the water - I'd highly suggest getting acquainted with the waterfront area via Google maps before arriving - can be hectic and confusing with all the traffic.

This place was definitely the best we stayed at during our 3 week, 7 stop tour of Italy in May 2019. While it doesn't overlook the Mediterranean the view of the Duomo and the plaza activity was great. Besides, we spent most of our time out and about overlooking the Med. The room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. And the staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended! Also, Amalfi is easily accessible by ferry, bus or car (on the way back from Capri the ferry couldn't stop at Positano due to sea conditions so those folks had to find their own way home from Amalfi).

Absolutely amazing stay in this stunning accommodation! We arrived quite late in the evening, and the lady working there came down to the harbour to meet us from our transfer and brought us up to La Bambagina so that we found it easily. The room was really modern and absolutely spotless. It was so comfortable with a beautiful balcony that gave a view over the square and the beautiful Chapel. The next morning the lady working there kept our bags for us all day as we went and got the boat to Positano. They could not have been more helpful. Will definitely recommend to anyone that I know who goes to Amalfi!

An excellent location literally less than 5 minutes walk with bags from the bus or ferry! Right in the main Piazza del Duomo and rooms have a view of the square! Bed was excellent, probably he best of our entire two week stay in Italy!! Melissa gave us recommendations for local restaurants, and the food was absolutely the most authentic, fresh and delicious of our entire trip! We will be back someday! Highly recommended!!!
