A short break
Although we were apparently not in the allotted room that we had booked, due to a leak, it was grim. Bedding was so used it was “bobbly”. Hot water tap did not run hot. Shower unit was mouldy, and the shower was freezing or scalding!! Towels were mismatched. No little touches at all. Decor was so old and had literally had paint slapped onto wallpaper, not even taking the curtain rails down to paint. Years of neglect unfortunately.

If you are a group of adults in the quadruple room be prepared as it’s not 2 singles and a double it’s a bunk bed and a double. The bunk bed isn’t capable of holding a grown mans weight. We were greeted by the hosts grandson due to personal commitments of the hosts. After a bad nights sleep we complained and the hosts were more than apologetic. Immediately they offered to separate the double bed into 2 singles which then accommodated the 3 of us perfectly. They were so apologetic and advised that if they had met us on arrival they would have immediately have done this. Moral of the story-tell them if the room is to be used by adults only and they will prepare it accordingly. The B&B is a bit run down but the breakfast is amazing!! Exactly what 3 grown men needed to set them up for the day. If you’ve got a big car make sure to ask about the parking. A good little B&B if it’s just a base for a weekend

We Booked this as it was close to the outdoor arena and close to the beach and town centre. Andy & Zena are great down to earth hosts, really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was brilliant. The rooms are a little tired but everything was available what we needed. Would we go back? Of course, no problem at all.

Owners were very welcoming, bed was extremely comfortable with stunning views over the countryside. Breakfast plentiful and excellent even had gluten free options. I would definitely recommend a stay.
