Overall we were disappointed with our stay at Canova rooms. Check in was very rushed and the girl answered multiple phone calls while checking us in and rushed away after walking us to the room. The key cards are magnetic and cannot be beside your cellphone or they will deactivate which seems like a horrible system in 2022. The claim for a 4* hotel seems like a stretch as the breakfast provided is a juice box and hazlenut wafer bar in the fridge. My husband has a nut allergy and could not eat what was provided. The shower doesnt have any shelving so your soap and shampoo sit on the floor while you are showering. Our room 101 was street facing and directly above the main entrance door and it honestly the loudest room I have ever stayed at. The door was constantly slamming under us and the road noise was so loud, there was minimal difference between having the windows open or closed it was that loud. The garbage truck came by around 11:50 PM, yes just before midnight. the morning we were checking out, the toilet stopped working and would not flush. I notified management and there was no one on site to remedy the situation which was very unpleasant to deal with. Maybe the other rooms are quieter and are better but I would not recommend to anyone staying in room 101.

Great location and very central to major landmarks. Would definitely stay again. Be mindful that if you have a lot of luggage, there are many stair to get to get to the apartment but this was expected. Giovanni - our host was happy to help with our luggage.

It’s a cute little place. Victoria was very kind and helpful. Cristina was prompt at answering our questions and booking our taxi early next morning for our flight. There are some stairs which made it challenging to carry big luggage. However, we made it up with 2 extra large pieces of luggage ☺️
