Suite 16 Glasgow

It was very nice part of the city, customer services was very good and it was clean and modern.

Property layout and location was excellent. Close to the railway station and the high street, such as St. Enoch mall etc. The condition of the flat could have been better, especially the toilets, where most attention is required. The carpets could also do with a clean too. But overall, not too bad, still a good place for a few days.

There was an error when we booked this room & the amount we agreed to pay was different than what we were charged by 50 GPS. Within 10 minutes of booking, I contacted both hotels.com and the host. The host refused to refund me & hotels.com would do nothing about it. I found this unreasonable and unprofessional. I had to contact the host via email, text, and finally a call on the day of arrival after receiving no contact. I did not receive the instructions for access until after 2:00 pm on the day of check-in. The host promised a person would be there for us at check-in, but this was not true. I waited in the rain and cold until a resident in the building had to let me in. After this, we were left to ourselves to figure out parking, access to the building, etc with very little guidance. This resulted in us having to drive 10 minutes on the highway to get turned back around to find the parking & us going into the wrong door of the wrong apartment building..this was the worst welcome we've ever experienced. The room is WAY smaller than we expected, bottom of the line furniture, & one of the toilets stopped working shortly after arrival. We felt unwelcome & truly worried about the host & process. We honestly couldn't leave the room fast enough in the morning. I recommend you find another place to stay in Glasgow and save yourselves the heartache & unprofessionalism of this company and host. Our welcome on the rest of our trip to Scotland was night and day compared to this one.
