I Could Live There
Our stay at Thistles on Skye was amazing. We spent two weeks traveling around Scotland, but we could have easily spent half our trip at Thistles. The couple running the bed and breakfast is so nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The room and in-suite bathroom is updated and feels like home, but better. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view. The bathroom was large and clean. I would definitely stay there again and plan a much longer stay.

This was a perfect experience from start to finish. David was waiting out front when we arrived to make sure we could find his place. The room was gorgeous with the most incredible view! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. David gave us advice about what to see and do in Skye and we were able to make the most of our time! Our nights at the Thistle Inn were the highlight of our trip to Scotland!

I don't usually write reviews, however, Thistles on Skye was way beyond my expectations. Frances and David are amazing hosts and the property is pristine. The views from the rooms, the amazing breakfasts and the attention to detail has been second to none on my 2 week journey through the UK. Hopefully I will he back for a longer stay.

David, the host, could not be more helpful, accommodating and wonderful to work with. He does an amazing job with breakfast too! The room is so comfortable and has high end sheets, towels, etc. The bathroom is very large with a soaking tub. The views are incredible.

Stunning quiet location, beautifully furnished rooms with everything you could possibly need. But it's the hosts, David and Frances, that set Thistles apart. We could not have felt more comfortable in the lovely breakfast room (enjoying fabulous breakfasts), and they provided really helpful tips to enjoy the island AND they even lent me hiking boots when mine gave out! Nothing was too much trouble. A truly exceptional experience - THANK YOU!

All I can say is WOW. This place is exceptional. The room was first class. The view from the room was...there are no words. I could barely peel my eyes away. Heaven on earth. Simply stunning. David and Frances bend over backwards to make sure your stay is perfect. I would move in here if I could. Just amazing!!
