About this home
Set on a private road with private beach access, Kailua Beachside is One-Story Home a 4BD/4BA (over 2,800 square feet) estate home that has been extensively remodeled and well-cared for. Nestled amongst mature landscaping, the property offers luxurious privacy. Fine finishings with a relaxed tropical feel make up this open floor plan one story home, resulting in flowing trade winds and lots of natural light. The interior living area opens up to a covered lanai and private swimming pool. The pool area has an outdoor dining table and bar area, chaise lounges, and a covered bale with a daybed and newly renovated full bathroom with shower.
The master bedroom with private access to the pool area has a King bed with ensuite bath, split a/c unit, and large sitting area equipped with a sofa sleeper. The remaining three bedrooms each have a Queen bed and a/c units. There is also a bonus room off one of the guest rooms with two twin trundle beds, perfect for families with children. The floors are travertine tile throughout except for the bedrooms which have carpet.
Just a few houses off the beach, the home has public beach access to the famous Kailua Beach. A half mile of white sand, sparkling turquoise waters, and gentle flowing breezes are what await you at this iconic beach. The buzzing town of Kailua offers trendy boutiques and both casual and fine dining. Kailua is 30 minutes outside of Honolulu and Waikiki.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family from East Coast USA and Australia- met in the middle for a wonderful reunion. We stayed 9 nights and the house was everything we wanted. This was our second stay, and the proximity to the beach (no need to cross roads) made it a breeze to get our kids there and back without any stress. The house itself is extremely well appointed and our concierge was on hand if we needed help or advice with anything. Good location makes Honolulu and the north shore easily accessible. The beach is great for kids and boogey boards, beach chairs and mats were all available. A beautiful property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Highest rating for vacation home rental for family group of 14, 8 adults, 6 children. Comfortable with spacious, clean and A/C comfort. Large kitchen and 4 bathrooms had everything one would want and need. Deep swimming pool had a security fence which gave the kid's parents a safety sense and peace of mind with the young ones. We made use of the gas grill, outdoor bar, beach towels galore, swimming and snorkeling equipment provided. We did have local guest visit us and they all commented on the great accommodations.The Kailua beach was a 5 minute slow-walk away, many days were too windy and the pool was the better alternative anyway. The landscape was well maintained and manicured so we used it as a backdrop for a professional family photo session, beautiful photos. We are a military and law-enforcement family group, and having a Marine Corp Base near by to purchase grocery and household items was very convenient and lots of money-saved. One disappointment-Pool turned murky 2 days before departure date, we were restricted from using it during that time. One recommendation-Put a large refrigerator near outdoor bar. We had to use 5 coolers and lots of ice to keep refreshments cold is very expensive. Result-Best vacation stay ever. We want to reserve this house on our return trip to Oahu in two years-a biennial family event. Mahalo to Tatiana Deponte for her assistance and her service to us.
