Pura vida for a good price
The place is good except for the shower , the water came and went with the hot water doing the same. The service was great and the first day I had trouble with the door lock but the next day they fixed it and everything was good.. The price was very good for what you get and you can not get any closer to the ocean. I will stay there again just a different room that my friend had and it did not have the water problem...

Fair price
Walking distance to everywhere and nice staff. The rooms are good size and ocean front. The problem is the hotel entrance and restaurant. The restaurant kitchen is right next to the front desk. The place smells like fried food starting at 4pm if you stay outside your bedroom. The restaurant is overpriced. Free parking is nice.

Hotel actually is beach front , the rooms lead directly to the beach. The attached restaurant is separate from the hotel, however they offer the free breakfast here or at an Italian place next door. Better choose the Italian place because of more choices and better breakfasts( owner is very nice and super friendly). From the experience of our room, they need some updating. Overall the staff is very friendly and always willing to help out

Great week's vacation at Hotel La Palapa!
We spent a very relaxing time at La Palapa, all the management and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was good, right on the beach with great views of the beautiful sunsets.

Friendly place right on the beach
My son and I enjoyed our stay at this cute beach hotel so much that we extended our stay to a week. It's right on the beach, with beach chairs, hammocks and massage services looking out at the ocean. There are also lots of shops and restaurant close by. Rolando made us feel very much at home, helping is to book a shuttle and giving us tips. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved it here!
The room had a nice view of the ocean. Private beach chairs were nice. Beach towels were provided. The bed was very comfortable! Sunsets were beautiful and we saw Howler Monkeys in the trees right outside of our room. Private parking was great because there isn't much parking on the street. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. We've already booked again for our next stay!
